Luke's P.O.V.

"Good morning beautiful." I greet Maddie once her eyes open. "Lukee.." She whines and buries her face into my bare chest. "C'mon princess. We have to go in an hour." I tell her and plant a kiss on the top of her head. "I love you, you know that right?"

"I know.. I love you too." Maddie replies and kisses my neck.

"Let's go babe." I say and sit up.

"Don't look." Mads demands and turns around as she takes off her shirt. I turn the other way and change my clothes as well. When i turn around she's dressed in a plaid long sleeved t-shirt and shorts and her hair is in a perfect messy bun.

"You look perfect." I smile and bring her to me. "In just a few hours we will be back in Sydney! Then i'll be able to have you all alone.." I wink and kiss her temple.

(A/N: Sorry if i said that they lived in Melbourne earlier in the story, i can't remember.. But yeah, they live in Sydney.)

I felt so much better after i told Maddie that i loved her... I felt even better when she said it back...

I thought i was going to be too shy to even say her name! I packed all of her things while she was sleeping... Not to be weird.. I just wanted her to sleep better.. We were up all night.

Not in that way of course, oh my god. No we were just talking about life and such. I wouldn't even think about doing 'it' with her for awhile.. I actually want this to work out. I don't want it to be like the pointless games and hookups i used to do.

Maddie is special...

"Wendy run away with me.. I know i sound crazy, don't you see what you do to me..." Maddie hums the rest as she helps me pack the tent away. I smile at her singing and zip up the bag. It kills me that we can't act like a couple in public... Or around our friends... But its for the both of us.

It's so we can stay together..

Honestly, i've never felt this way before. Yeah, this sounds like a bunch of chick-flick, romance movie shit but i really love her...

Ugh, i sound like a jackass.

"Luke, Maddie!" Ashton yells.

"We're leaving early!" Hayden says and ushers us into the van.

There are four rows in this van, including the front seats. Ashton and Hayden are in the front, Jem and Calum are behind them. Mikey and Everest are in front of us, and Maddie and I are in the very back. Behind us is a small compartment where all of our bags are stashed.

"The only stops we are doing is for bathroom and one food stop in two hours." Ashton announces making us all groan.

It's probably going to be another six hours until we are in Sydney.. But i don't even know. I place my hand on Maddie's knee and slowly rub in circles, comforting her.

Maddie told me last night that when she is in a confined place for too long she will have a panic attack. Maddie smiles at me and places her hand over mine. I take out my phone and open up a new text.

To: Miss Maddie

I wish i could say i love you out loud :(

She looks down at her phone and puts on a fake frown. She types into her phone and mine buzzes.

Me too! but we can say it here! I love you Luke.
