Luke's P.O.V.

"Hey Lukey." Calum cousin says and hugs me. "Hey Ashley." I reply and hug back.

"So you're gonna be my date tonight?" She winks.

"Yes, but no kissing or anything like that. I have a girlfriend, but don't tell the lads." I say. "Oh i won't."

"But at least act like you're my date." She smiles. "I can do that." I smile back and start up the car. Honestly i'm nervous. Really nervous. But i'm also angry. Angry and upset. But i'm getting back at Maddie..

We have been together for a week now and she is already with other guys? I thought she told me i was her first boyfriend... I shake the thoughts from my head and start up the car. "Ready?" I ask Ashley. She nods and goes back to looking at her phone.

Ten minutes later i pull into the parking lot of their place. "Let's go." I say and get out of my car. We walk up the steps and i put my hand on the door knob.

Here goes nothing...

I open the door, wrap my arm around Ashley's waist and walk inside. I pull her close, "How many people here have you slept with?" I whisper in her ear. Ashley laughs and blushes then slaps my arm. I look up and see Maddie.

My beautiful little secret.

Her eyes are filled with tears and her facial expression kills me. I know i should remove my arm from her waist. I know i should rush over to Maddie and hug her. I know i should tell Ashton to fuck off. But i don't. Why am i such an asshole?

Michael whispers something to her and she puts a smile on her face, a fake smile. "Yeah, why wouldn't i be?" She pauses and looks up at me. "It's not like we're boyfriend and girlfriend anyways." I could tell she meant it. The venom in her words stung my heart.

Why wasn't i doing anything? The girl that i love just broke up with me, i know she did. So why aren't i moving?

Oh yeah, because i'm a fucking prick.

My eyes start to sting and i can't breath. "I need some air. Actually i'm going to visit Lauren and Harry." She says to everyone. That dick, Jai, looks at her, "Want me to walk with you?" She nods slightly, "Yes.."

He grabs her hand and pulls her out the door. Why am i not doing anything?! I feel like i just got hit by a truck. No, i'm sure getting hit by a truck would be better than this. Way better.

The door shuts and i wish i can go after her. But it would be too suspicious.

Who the fuck cares about being suspicious?! I need to go after her! "Hey! Luke! Get in here!" Ashton exclaims from the kitchen and i'm forced to go. I swallow the pain and put on a fake smile."Hey!"

I need to go after her.

As soon as i can.

Maddie's P.O.V.

"Thanks so much Jai for walking me.." I smile and hug him.

"It was no problem. I wasn't going to let you walk alone..." Jai laughs and rubs the back of his neck. "Are you going to be okay?" He asks and puts a hand on my shoulder. I sniffle, "N-no.."

"Want to talk about it?"

I nod. "Let's go inside." I say. Jai smiles, "We can have ice cream and watch a Disney movie on netflix. How's that sound?"

"Good.." I half smile and lead him inside. "Hey Anne, this is my friend. His name is Jai." I say as we walk into the living room. "Hello, it's nice to meet you. Are you alright Maddie?" Anne asks.

"Is it that noticeable?" I try to laugh but it comes out as a choked sob.

"Can Jai stay for a movie?" I ask my new mother. "Of course, just no funny business you two." She winks and leaves for the kitchen. I laugh and pull Jai up the stairs and into my bedroom. "Nice room." He laughs and sits on my bed.

I turn the lights off and pull out my laptop. "Which Disney movie?" I ask him.

"You choose, you're the one who is sad." He offers. I scroll through our options and decide on Snow White. One of my favorites.

We got about twenty minutes into the movie when my door flung open. "Maddie?" Luke breaths. I flick the light on and slam my laptop shut. "You need to leave." He tells Jai.

"I'm not going anywhere unless Maddie says so." Jai crosses his arms. "Please, let me talk to you?" Luke begs. His eyes are red and bloodshot. He looks like he has been crying. "Jai, thanks so much for being with me. I'll text you when i wake up." I tell Jai and give him a hug.

He smiles and leaves my room. Luke shuts the door and comes to me. "What do you want?" I ask and cross my arms over my chest. "Please don't end us." Luke begs.

"I have to... You've ignored me for days. Luke, you came to our house party with that beautiful girl! Plus, i'm not even supposed to be with you. So no." I reply and bite my lip to stop me from crying.

"No, no, no, please Maddie!" Luke cries. He doesn't try to wipe his tears. "Luke, you didn't do anything to stop me from leaving! You stood there!" I exclaim and back away from the crying Luke. "Please.." He chokes out. "I love you, i'll do anything! Just give me a chance!"

"The explain!"

"On Wednesday i saw you with that Jai guy. You hugged him and i thought you were cheating on me. Calum asked me to be his cousins date to the party so i agreed so they wouldn't think anything was up and because i was upset and angry. I came to the party with Calum's cousin, Ashley. I told her i had a girlfriend and not to try anything.. Please Maddie... Believe me! I will go to Ashton right now. I will drive to your guys' house and tell him how madly in love i am with you. Just don't leave me." He begs on his knees.

I kneel down and look him in the eyes. "Luke.. I believe you.. But-"

"No buts Maddie, please.."

"Fine.. But if this happens again-" I warn but i'm cut off by Luke's lips crashing on mine. "I'm so, so, so sorry baby." He kisses me all over my face and stands up with me. "We're a hot mess.." I laugh when i look at both of our reflections in the mirror. His hair is sticking up in all directions. Mine is pulled into a messy bun.

Both of our cheeks are stained with tears and my makeup is running. "Yes, yes we are." He laughs and takes my hand. "Are you coming with me?" He smiles.

"Of course."
