You sat on the pew looking directly forward at the stage; at Niall giving his speech on the behalf of your class. Your purple gown sleeves were lifted every time you lifted your arms up to applaud your boyfriend of the last four years.

"And I think it is in order to thank those who were able to get us here today. Those like teacher who definitely aren't in it for the money." The students and some teachers laughed, "and family who forced us to finish no matter how much we begged." Parents chuckled as well, "And friends that we made on the way that made the last four years a bit easier."

You could feel his eyes hit yours. You blushed, looking down at your gown.

"And make sure you keep 'em because college isn't any easier, but let's make every proud. Congratulations class of 2017. Let us be great."

You and everyone clapped at the finishing of the speech.

The ceremony went on well until the end. After everyone had received their diplomas and a hand shake.

"Congratulations to the class of 2016!" your principle cheered as music began to play and confetti fell. Your class cheered, hugging those next to them.

"Hey," you felt Niall grab you arm, spinning you around.

"Hey, you did so well up there," you hugged him. "I'm so proud of you," you whispered in his chest.

"I'm proud of you too," he smiled.

"Do you have everything?" your mom asked.

"Yeah, I think I'm ready," you told her as you hauled your suitcase to the door.

You and Niall decided that you guys wanted to go on a road trip before you guys got too busy.

"You guys have fun and make sure you call me everyday until you come back," she told you. "You are growing up so fast, Y/N," she smiled, embracing you into a hug.

"I know," you smiled.

You heard the doorbell ring; your mother let you go so you could answer and open it.

"Hey, you ready?" Niall asked.

"Y/F/N, Y/N's about to leave," your mom yelled calling for your father.

Your father came down stairs to greet you goodbye and give Niall a quick talk. You and Niall said you goodbyes before he helped you with your luggage. You got into the passenger seat before Niall drove off.

Hours pasted while you guys drove down the highway. Singing and rapping were the only thing keeping you both entertained, but it was getting dark.

"Niall, do you think we can maintain a long distance relationship?"

He glanced at you from the road. "Long distance? We'll be four hours apart. I'll be visiting you almost every weekend," he reassured you.

"I know but what if you find someone else while you're studying business or-"

"Y/N, I'm not going to find anyone else. I love you." He placed his hand on your thigh, rubbing circles with his thumb. "You're the first girl I'd ever asked to a dance and that went with me to all the other. You were there when I got my concussion during my football match."

"And you were there when at every volleyball game and when my car broke down on the middle of the highway and you had to pick me up. Or that time when you helped me get my first job." You place you hand on top of yours.

He sighed as he turned into a parking lot of a hotel, "So why are you so worried?" he asked.

It had been four years of Niall always being there for you. You had been through everything together; almost everything. Now you really had some thinking to do.
