A/N: IT'S NOT POSITIVE LIKE ON A DAMN PREGNANCY TEST, K? JUST ROLL WITH ME HERE.
Adam's POV:
"...Congratulations,"
...Um, what?
"You're going to have a child, Tyler." The man smiled this half-hearted grin, and placed his clipboard down on a small marble countertop nearby. "As your boyfriend, hopefully, told you, Tyler, I've seen this type of thing before. I don't want you to be nervous or anything," I could feel his figure tense up beside me, and I started rubbing miniature circles into his back. "However it's going to be a bit more odd than a normal female pregnancy."
"A-are... you sure?" He asked in a quiet voice.
"Yes."
"...Really...?"
"Yes really. I'm sure of this."
"Positive?"
"The tests say so. And so do your symptoms." The doctor vaguely pointed out.
Ty took a gulp, it, yet again, seeming dry. "So... what's d-different about it...?" He asked softly, shuffling his feet awkwardly, and avoiding eye contact with the man.
"It's not differet by much, don't worry. But, ah, it's... a bit more complicated-"
"What d'you mean?" The brunette beside me asked hurriedly.
"...Ahem..." The man cleared his throat, and started again, "Considering you don't have, um... The necessary female, ah... 'parts,' I suppose, it'll be a tough birth. It may have to result in a c-section, but that depends on if your baby decides it wants to be given life naturally... That's another story, which we'll, ah, discuss later," he insisted, tapping his foot gently on the ground.
"But.. I'll be... okay... right?" Ty questioned shyly.
"Most likely."
"But you're not sure...-?"
"Can't say I am," the doctor huffed, then gave us a warm smile. "Come see me again sometime. Like... A few weeks from now. I'll want to check on him, again." He eyed the both of us, then stood up, me copying his actions and helping Ty up, as well.
"Thank you," I nodded, reaching out and taking his hand in mine for a firm shake. He flashed us another grin and opened the door, all three of us parading out, Ty first in line. The doctor closed it behind us, and me and Ty left the offica moments after.
Once we were in the car again, Ty began to speak.
A/N: how come when I kept saying the doctor it felt like Doctor Who remade...
I don't even watch that show.
