PFF THE TITLE WHY

"...Skylar? You want to name your only child after yourself, indirectly?"

Adam's POV:
"Only child?" I smirked at him, raising an eyebrow.
He flushed a deep crimson color. "A-Adam!" The brunette hissed through gritted teeth, but the corners of his mouth were still turned up against his will. "...Y-you're lucky you're cute," he added softly, covering his eyes with a free hand and then looking back down at our child. "B-but... seriously.. what're we going to name her?" Ty mumbled.
"Skylar," I pressed. It just seemed right to me.
"Adaaaaam," Ty whined, sending me a death glare, "No,"
"Yes," I countered, persisting we named her Skylar.
"Adam, naming a kid is a big deal. She's going to have that name forever," the brunette pointed out, eyeing me,
"I know," I replied, laughing, "I want that to be her name."
He just sighed. "...Okay..." Ty agreed eventually, glancing down at the bundle cradled in his arms, "...But only because I love you." He added, smirking at me, to which I returned a quick peck to his cheek. He stared at Skylar for another moment, then looked at me, and said, "Isn't this supposed to be the part where you kiss me? Like, on the lips?" (BEEN WATCHING TOO MUCH F.R.I.E.N.D.S) He asked softly,
"Yeah," I replied, grinning ear to ear. I heard what sounded like giggling, which had to be Colleen and Tiffany, but I ignored it, and leaned in. It wasn't much, just a lingering lip-to-lip meeting, but it meant the world. We pulled apart after a little while, and simultaneously glanced back down at our child. Parents... We were parents now, and it had really just struck me. All of a sudden, the little girl burst out crying, for what reason, I don't know, newborns are supposed to cry... Right?
Ty just laughed, then began to shush her, and I just watched, completely dazed. I was a father, now. That was pretty damn scary.
