I'd been in New York for a little over a month now and I'd gotten more done than I ever thought possible with no support from anyone.

I hadn't talked to Olivia since she pretty much shamed me for standing up for myself. And at first I was pretty broken up about it, but I soon realized that I was my own best friend. And that was enough for me.

I'd gotten my own high rise, two bedroom condo smack in the middle of downtown. I had to stay in the hotel for an extra week due to the building being renovated. I'd moved up in rank in the agency because they liked my designs so much. Almost all of them were used in showcases they had put on here in New York as well as across the world in different countries. Aside from that, I had even made a few friendly associates.

However, one thing I didn't do was go to the gym. But that was all changing today.

Today I had an off day and if I didn't do anything else, I was going to that god forsaken gym if it was that last thing I did.

After taking Bear for a walk, I went back home and got prepared to go. I threw on a pair of black Nike tights, a blue long sleeved shirt, along with my black free runs. Once I put my hair into a high bun and grabbed my gym bag and a bottle of water, I was ready to go,

Instead of taking my car, I walked the mile to the gym and by the time I got there I was already prepared to call it a day. But, somehow I mustered up the willpower to get myself through it.

As soon as I walked through the door, the same guy from before greeted me with a warm smile.

"There you are! I was wondering when you'd show up."

I just smiled in response.

"Um... I think the only available trainer here today is Adrian. You can workout by yourself or you can go back to the trainer's corner and start a workout plan with him if you'd prefer."

I nodded before heading to the trainer's corner. And I thought I heard the receptionist whisper good luck under his breath.

I didn't know what to do, I just knew I need to get my health back on track and having a professional steer me in that direction was a plus. Especially if I'd already paid for it.

Once I reached the station, I looked around and didn't see anyone. That is, until one of the most beautiful creatures I'd ever seen emerged from a room behind all of the open cubicles and sat at the desk with his name plate on top of it.

Even though he wore a loose fitting t-shirt, you could clearly see the many muscles bulging underneath it. His skin was so smooth that I had to force myself not to reach out and touch it. But what really drew me in were his eyes. They just held so much mystery behind them.

To say that I was ogling at him would have been a definite understatement.

"What do you want?" His deep voice rolled out like velvet.

It was so smooth that I didn't realize his question was borderline rude.

"Uh, hi. I'm Abella and I was wondering if you could be my trainer." I still hadn't stopped shamelessly gazing at him.

He scrunched his face up, which threw me out of my lustful trance. "Why?"

Now it was my turn to scrunch my face. "Because it's your job."

"Nobody else wanted to work with you?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow.

Now, I saw why he was the only one available. Behind all of those good looks, he was an asshole.

"You know what? Don't worry about it. No wonder no you're the only available trainer, you're an asshole." My feelings were low-key hurt, but I did my best in masking them.
