Doctor Who: Apple Trees

Don't Call Me Associate.

The Doctor paces up & down the corridor. As he was pacing, two Daleks turned the corner.

"YOU ARE THE DOCTOR!!!" the first Dalek yelled. The Doctor turned to face the Dalek. "The original, you might say," said the Doctor. "WHERE ARE YOUR ASSOCIATES?!" the second Dalek questioned. The Doctor rolled his eyes. "Why don't you ask your other buddies?" the Doctor asked. "YOUR STATEMENT IS INVALID! THE OTHERS HAVE BEEN DESTROYED!" the first Dalek yelled. The Doctor smiled at the Daleks statement. "Yup! That's my daughter!" the Doctor stated. 

The first Dalek's eyestalk turned to face the second Dalek. "FIND THE DOCTOR'S ASSOCIATES!" "AFFIRMATIVE!" the second Dalek said, before roll back out & down the other end of the corridor. 

"So, what do you want with me this time?" the Doctor asked the remaining Dalek. "DAVROS IS LOOKING FOR YOU!" the Dalek responded. "Davros is still alive?" the Doctor questioned. "AFFIRMATIVE!" the Dalek responded. 

"But how? In fact, how are you still alive? The last time I saw you lot, the dead Daleks were sliming their way into your casing?...Is sliming a word? Gooping? Crawling? No, it wouldn't be politically correct to say crawling," the Doctor rambled. "DAVROS MANAGED TO GET US OUT BEFORE THEY TOOK OVER OUR CASING!" the Dalek responded after all of that rambling. "So you lot & Davros survived. I should know you would never die," the Doctor stated. 

The Dalek inched closer to the Doctor. "DAVROS IS LOOKING FOR YOU!" the Dalek stated. "Alright then, take me to your leader," said the Doctor.

Down the hall, you could here what sounded like a gunshot. The Dalek turned it's body to look at where the noise was coming from. "EXPLAIN!!!" yelled the Dalek. There was a slight pause before SHE spoke.

"Sorry dad, but I don't want you having a tea party with that prune, Davros," JJ shouted from down the other corridor. "JJ?" the Doctor questioned. There was a brief pause. "No, it's Jesus!" JJ said sarcastically. 

"IT IS THE DOCTOR'S ASSOCIATE!!!!" "Associate?! Excuse you!" JJ yells from down the other hallway. "STATE YOUR LOCATION!!!!" "Oh, that won't be necessary," JJ said.  "EXPLAIN!!!" the Dalek asked. There was a pause. JJ said nothing. You could hear a pin drop in the silence. The Dalek kept repeating, "EXPLAIN!!! EXPLAIN!!!" EXPLAIN!!!" 

Suddenly, JJ popped out from around the corner. She her arm, with gun in hand, up. She pointed at the Dalek; her gun fired & hit the Dalek directly in the eyestalk. "MERCY!!! MERCY!!!" the Dalek yelled. The Doctor ran towards JJ. He grabbed her hand & pulled her back down the corridor, of which she came. Once they got to the end of that corridor, JJ came to a stop. She turned to look back at the corridor they just came from. "Don't call me associate!" JJ shouted.

The Doctor turned to look at his daughter. His brow furrowed. "How many Daleks have you shot today?" he asked his daughter. " JJ was hesitant to answer at first. "...5...But that last one called me your "associate." Now , he deserved to be shot for that!" JJ answered.  The Doctor rolled his eyes & walked away. "What? I don't like being called your associate!" JJ called after her father. She followed him to the corridor he was heading towards.

Jake was still trying to get the handcuffs off with the bobby pin. He was turning the bobby pin & maneuvering it in many different ways. 

"Come on!" Jake yelled out of frustration. After a couple more seconds, the handcuffs made a click noise. Jake looked happy & excited.

"Ha!" he yelled with joy. He took the handcuffs off. He stood up. "Thank goodness! Now, to get the Doctor & JJ"
