Doctor Who: Apple Trees

Meeting Mr. Pruneface

The Doctor & JJ followed the two Daleks down a corridor. They came to the end of the corridor & found, what seemed to be a dead end. However, the Daleks kept rolling towards it. 

"Hey, Daleks, don't you think you should stop  movi-" JJ began to say, when the wall began to rise. It wasn't actually a wall; it was a secret door.

JJ looked at her father for confirmation that that just happened. She looked confused. The Doctor looked at her & just shrugged. "Are we in a Indiana Jones movie, or what?" asked JJ. The Doctor walks in after the Daleks & JJ follows close behind.

Inside the room, it's dark. The Doctor reaches back for his daughter's hand; JJ takes his hand, making sure she doesn't lose him in the Doctor. As they are walking through, JJ accidentally runs into a dead Dalek, because she couldn't see it. She bumped into it, & she screamed. The Doctor grabbed JJ & pulled her into his arms, hugging her. 

JJ noticed that the Dalek she bumped into was covered in this black, slimy residue. She turned to look at the rest of the room. She could just barely make out other dead Daleks. They all were covered in the same black residue. 

JJ let go of her father. She stood up straight, as if she was trying to act tough. "Alright, when am I going to meet Mr. Pruneface?" JJ asked the Daleks. The Doctor laughed at his daughter's nickname for Davros. "Yeah, where is Davros? I was thinking we could have some tea," said the Doctor. From the darkness, they could here Davros call, "Over here...Doctor."

The Doctor & JJ turned their heads to see where the voice was coming from. Davros came rolling, out of the darkness, in his chariot. "It's a pleasure to see you again, Doctor," said Davros. "I'm sure it is," the Doctor said, cockily, to Davros. 

Davros turned to look at JJ. "It appears you lost your previous associate? Who is your new associate?" Davros asked the Doctor. "I'm not his associate!" JJ said, angrily. "Then, who exactly are you?" Davros asked JJ. "I'm his daughter! Thank you very much!" JJ replied. 

Davros paused. For a brief second, he looked terrified. "Another Time Lord?!" Davros asked. "& you haven't even seen half of the things she can do," stated the Doctor. 

Davros laughed at the Doctor's statement. "Doctor, my children have defeated the rest of your race-" Davros began to say, before he got cut off by JJ. "But you haven't beaten my father. So, what is it? Is he just too smart for you & your..."children"," JJ asked Davros.

Jake made it to the same corridor that had the secret room, of which the Doctor & JJ were standing in. He could faintly hear JJ talking. He walked up to the wall to hear the conversation.

"That is preposterous!" Davros exclaimed. "But you haven't denied it. & you should be scared, because before it was just the Doctor & his human companion. Now, humans lack the intelligence of all the universes, but now there's two Time Lords-" JJ stated, but was cut off by the Doctor. 

"Well, actually, because you're a female, you'd technically be called a Time Lady," said the Doctor, intelligently. JJ turned to face her father. 

"Dad, shut up. I'm on a roll," said JJ to her father. The Doctor said, "Sorry." 

"Anyway, you've one Time Lord & one Time Lady in the one room. Which means that it's double the intelligence. You know, intelligence is the greatest weapon of them all. It's part of the reason that the Spanish conquistadors were able to defeat the Aztecs & the Incas; the Spanish were more educated than the native tribes...That, & they had muskets & canons," JJ stated. "Well, I don't see any muskets or canons," stated Davros. "Maybe not, but I've got something better," said JJ, determined.

Jake came in through the secret door. The Doctor, JJ, Davros & all the Daleks turned to look at Jake. "Yeah...me!" he said. "...Uh...well, I was actually going to say my guns...but a good distraction works too!" JJ said to Jake. 

JJ reached inside her jacket & pulled her gun out. She started shooting Daleks, directly in the eyestalk, down. 

Jake ran up to JJ & grabbed her hand. "Run!" he said, looking her in the eyes. 

Jake pulled JJ out of the room; the Doctor followed close behind them.
