The Doctor carefully flew the TARDIS back to the origin of this horrendous day. The university.
After the TARDIS had successfully landed back into the janitorial closet, both Jake & JJ stepped out of the spectacular blue box.
"Well, that was...a day," Jake stated. "Yeah, didn't exactly imagine this to be my first day here either-" JJ began, "but I also didn't expect you to stow away with us.""Well, I didn't expect the new girl to be a time-traveling alien," said Jake. "Well, I didn't expect humans to be sneaky," said JJ. Jake smiled, which made JJ burst out laughing. "You know-" Jake began, "I would love to see more of the galaxy sometime." "Are you asking to come with?" JJ asked. "I guess I am," said Jake.

JJ stood there with a face of concern. She finally said, "No." "Why no?" asked Jake, who was a little saddened by her answer. "See you later, stupid," said JJ, stepping into the TARDIS. "Wait! Why? Why can't I come with?" Jake asked once more.
JJ paused for a minute. She finally leaned towards Jake & said, "How could I let that pretty face get hurt?" She pulled away, fully stepped inside the TARDIS & closed the door.

Jake smiled for a minute, at her question, but then his face fell from a smile to a frown. Jake went to grab for the door handle of the janitors closet, but then he heard another door open up from behind him.

JJ stepped out of the TARDIS.
"Just one more thing," she said while walking toward him. Just as she reached him, she put her hands on his face. She pulled his face towards hers & gave him a gentle & sweet kiss. This kiss didn't last for more than 30 sec.
She eventually pulled away & walked back to the TARDIS as if nothing happened. She opened the door & closed it again, but this time she didn't walk back out.
Jake stood against the door, with a face of shock. He stood there for the longest time.
