Escaping

They sat there, hidden by a mist of pure darkness. Both of them were embracing, possibly for the last time. They silently wept, never wanting the moment to end. Cause, they knew when it did, they could possibly never meet again.
"I- i- I'm gonna miss you," Flippy whispered, whimpering.

"Shh, I'll miss you too. But, this has to happen," she wept. She was meant to be the calmer, less emotional one, yet she was crying like she'd lost family. In all honesty, she knew she was going to. Who knows for how long. But, they both knew it would save so many young lives. They were willing to take chances.
"Here," Jitter murmured, handing him something. It was a green bear teddy, made from stitched up green cloth. It's eyes were brown fabric, and bulged slightly. It's nose was, also, brown. It had a raccoon tail, made from stripes of green fabric and real, brown animal (-maybe an animal like the others, or maybe an actual animal. I'll leave that up to you ;)-) fur. Finally, it wore fake dog tags, both sides having a message carved in for the two.

Flippy looked at her with wide, happy eyes. He sniffled, hugging her again.
"Thank you so much," he whispered, barely able to keep himself from screaming. She smiled, gently patting his head.
"Good luck," she whispered, giving him a kiss on the forehead and an extra kiss.

She readied the pliers, cutting the fence open. Flippy squeezed her again, before giving her a kiss on the cheek, and a rock he'd carved into a heart, and inscribed with a message, letting his other side write one too. She smiled, before shoving him out, the alarms blaring. Fliqpy soon took over, looking at Jitter, and giving her a nod. She understood everything from it. She'd learnt to read the both of them like a book. Immediately after she nodded back, he dashed off, disappearing into the jet black abyss.

Jitter fled, hiding. A feeling of loss filled her, breaking her heart. She was gonna miss the cuddles with Flippy, the training with Fliqpy. The gentle, warm nature of Flippy, and the rough, cold nature of Fliqpy. Most importantly, she was gonna miss just seeing them. She dropped down, silently sobbing.

Fliqpy hid his tears as he ran. It was the first time he'd ever cried. It was an odd feeling. But, keeping his promise was more important. He heard other soldiers pursuing them, only encouraged to sprint faster. The ground was wet, muddy water splashing everywhere.

Occasionally, he'd turn around to shoot. He'd hit Gunpowder and Tricky, Mischief and Switchy 'taking' them back you base. He had to admit, he was struggling to escape. After a while, he saw a pond, which he immediately dived into. Luckily, no one noticed. He had eluded them. They continued straight past him. He climbed out, panting for breath. He let Flippy take over again, telling him they'd gone.

Lost, scared, alone, confused, tired, and dizzy, Flippy stumbled through the forest. He heard voices, but was unsure wether they were in his head or real. Deciding not to take chances, he began dashing again, bumping into something. He fell forward, but landed on his paws, before flipping to his feet.
"Wow! How'd you do that?!" Someone asked. Flippy jumped, startled. He looked over to see...

(- Mwahahaha! Cliffhanger! So evil >:D. Hope you enjoyed! Xx-)
