(-this chapter is based on a real experience with my gf. Sorry, babe xD-)

Hmm, he's taking a while... I wonder what's keeping him. Flaky glanced at the clock. It had only been a couple minutes, but Flaky was prone to worry, especially when it came to Flippy. His social interaction was still a work in progress, and he was a really sensitive person. Flaky remembered how upset he looked moments before he left. Maybe he was more upset than he let on. What do I do? I can't go in the male restrooms! Maybe I can check if he got lost... With that thought, Flaky got up and began wandering; not forgetting to leave her payment.

As she wandered, she went past a large window. She planned to quickly glance outside, when she noticed Flippy standing in front of Sniffles and Lumpy with his head lowered. Why is he outside? Biting her lip, she opened the door.

Immediately, she felt the tense atmosphere.
"L- listen, Flippy, i- I didn't mean it like that..." Sniffles stated, adjusting his glasses.

"W- w- what's going o-" Flaky began, before being cut off as Flippy just walked off. Without even looking at the group, he re-entered the cafe, Flaky swiftly following in pursuit. As she noticed Lumpy and Sniffles following too, she spun around and glared daggers at them.
"You pair have done quite enough," she hissed, suprised by her own venomous tone, "I'll sort it. You just go away."

With that, Flaky stormed inside, anxiously searching for the bear. She caught a glimpse of him at the counter. Thank the Lord he's ok! Flaky rushes next to him, before noticing the fearful look on the waitress' face. Nervously, she glanced at Flaky.
"I- is he your friend?" She stammered, gesturing to the stiff mammal.

"Y- yes, ma'am," Flaky nodded, carefully watching Flippy. His face was dull, and his eyes were an indescribable emotion. Somewhere between fear, sadness, and anger. She watched as he just grabbed his wallet and tossed it on the counter, before walking outside. Why is he leaving his wallet? Hastily sorting out the money, she grabbed his wallet and ran outside.
"Flippy!" She called, seeing him just standing there. As she got closer, she noticed he was scowling, along with tapping his finger on his folded arms. He glanced around, as if looking for something.
"...Leave me alone..." he growled lowly, his voice dull.

The porcupine rushed to his side, grabbing his arm.
"F- Flippy, l- let's go to m- my house. W- we'll relax t- there," she stammered, cowering as she looked at him.

Instead of responding, he just began walking, taking large strides with each step. In horror, Flaky noticed he was just gonna walk across the road.
"Stop!" She yelled, sprinting after him, hearing a car. He didn't even acknowledge her warning, still going.

In a flash, a car rushed towards the bear, desperately honking the horn to tell him to move.
"Flippy!" Flaky shrieked, tears spilling from her eyes as she rushed forwards.
Flippy didn't stop.
