Holy shit. I've had a random idea! So, I'm making an oc with DID. For that, I wanted to make sure I got the right alter/personality name. I always get confused between a prosecutor alter, and a perpetrator alter. As I was scrolling through the list, I found this.

Then, this idea clicked in my head. It doesn't hold any ground, but I thought it was interesting. Here's a bullshit theory.
What if Flippy was never in any form of war? Sure, DID can be formed from war experiences, but it was a random idea, so hush!
If you didn't know, alters have their own back story each. They may share the childhood memories of the original personality, but they're aware it's another person's memories and not their own. So, Flippy and Fliqpy don't share the same childhood. However, a major part of all dissociative disorders is detachment from oneself. And a way that can happen is through another dissociative disorder, called 'Dissocistive Fugue'. It's a reversible amnesia that usually falls in line with DID.

Now, looking over this, I've come to a conclusion. It doesn't work xD. Flippy expresses few of these. Flippy has never actually shown any confusion of himself; unless that's how you wanna perceive Double Whammy and Autopsy Turvey. He, also, has never actually expressed confusion over where he is. Heck, he seems very unaware of things changing around him after flipping. Until DW/AT. The most he has is incapability to remember past experiences and extreme distress functioning. Again, DW/AT, when he wakes up and is panicking.
So, yeah, this was a waste of time xD. It was just a random thought track. Sorry xD.
