Sick

As they entered the cafe, they were slapped by a wave of warm wind, full of the scents of the various foods and drinks they sold. While rather small, the cafe had a cosy atmosphere. It's walls were mostly white, with decorations (mostly floral designs) of pastel blue, pastel pink, and a cream-white. The floors were tiled, full of small decorations, and the tables had floral table clothes.

Despite it being unimaginably feminine, Flippy seemed the most appealed by the appearance, eyes lighting up with that child-like excitement that Flaky loved to see.
"Ok, you two, I'm gonna go bak to the ofers. Will you be ok on your own?" Lumpy stated. Whilst Flaky hesitantly nodded, Flippy eagerly nodded, looking as though he was going to burst with exhilaration at any given second.
"I'm gonna stay here with them, ok? I need to keep an eye on Flippy," Sniffles explained, giving a side glance to the bear, who's excitement drowned out at remembering the anteater.

"Need, huh?" Lumpy growled lowly, clearly full of anger at Sniffles' choice of words, "I need to have a word wif you... have fun you two!" Lumpy beamed at the pair as he dragged the anteater outside.

Flaky turned to Flippy, who'd hung his head, ears blending in with his fur. Comfortingly, Flaky grabbed his paw.
"Come on. Let's go get a table," Flaky distracted, pulling him off. She only hoped a warm drink and a pleasant chat would cheer him up.

Outside, Lumpy finally let go of the shorter anteater, who was clearly frustrated with being some sort of doll, ok to be dragged to wherever the owner pleased.
"Excuse me, Lumpy, I'm meant to b-" Sniffles, despite his despise of being mistreated, began courteously.

"Be monitoring Flippy?" Lumpy interupted, a look of rage apparent on his ivory eyes, "you lisen here, he doesn't need sum snoby narsisist waching him. You're upsetting him."

"I'm trying to help you and your friends to not be hurt by his outbursts. On my first witness of an episode, I was assulted."

"Yeah, it happens. But, it's not his fault. He alredy blames himself enuf as is. He doesn't need to feel that ofers are blaming him too. It's not fair!"

"Oh, and assult is? He's a hazard to everyone! Heck, even himself. He needs help. But, I can't give him the correct help without more knowledge. Something he can't give me!"

"Shut up! Jus- Just shut up! He's not dangerous! I trust him! I trust him with my life! He tries!"

"He is dangerous! He's attacked you!  Just look at your antler!"

After that, Lumpy fell silent. He could still feel pain in that antler. But, he knew Flippy wouldn't do something like that.
"That. Wasn't. Flippy." He hissed lowly.

Sipping his tea, Flippy continued reading his book, as Flaky sipped her own drink, a coffee, and observed the decor. It really was gorgeous.
"This is nice. We'll have to do this again sometime. Maybe even invite the others."
Flaky snapped back to reality, seeing Flippy glancing at her over his book, awaiting a response.
"Y- y- yeah... the place is pretty," Flaky stammered, looking around again, but keeping her focus on Flippy.

"Yeah. Flowers really are gorgeous. I hope I'll get to see more of them. My favourites are daffodils, cause blowing the seeds is just so satisfying, especially in one blow. I heard that they grant wishes. Is that true?" Flippy babbled, a beam on his face, and a gleam in his eyes.

"I don't believe in wishes. But, who knows. Maybe they do, maybe they don't," Flaky replied, expecting to see Flippy's enthusiasm drop, but it only grew.

"I'll have to test it. I've already got some in mind. What's your favourite flower?"

"O- oh! I- I- uhh... I quite like roses, b- because all the colours have different meanings."

"Really!? Can you name some, please?"

"Yellow is happiness and friendship, white is purity, and, the most iconic one, red means love."

Flippy stopped smiling.
"...F- Flippy?" Flaky whimpered fearfully.

"What's 'love'?" Flippy asked, shuffling his chair in more, and leaning forward, as if they were discussing something private and important. Flaky was truly shocked. W- why doesn't he know what love is? He should know. Didn't his parents teach him? Speaking of his parents, who are they? Why didn't Flippy ever try to find them? Were they abusive? Neglectful? He certainly doesn't know a lot for his age. Things he should know. Wh-
"Flaky?" Flippy asked, shaking her arm, "s- s- should i- I know? I- I'm sorry!" The bear was clearly on the verge of tears.

"N- no! I- it's fine! I- uhh, I just d- don't know how to e- explain it..." Flaky stammered, guilt washing over for upsetting the sensitive bear.

"O- ok..." Flippy trailed off, looking distant, before focusing again a few seconds later, "Welp, I need the restroom. Be back in a bit." Flippy pushed himself up, about to walk off until Flaky grabbed his arm.
"Please, Flippy, i- if you're u- upset, j- just say. Don't run off," Flaky pleaded. Flippy looked at her, before smiling wide.
"Don't worry, I'm fine. I just need to use the restroom."

"Ok, i- if you're sure..."

Flippy strolled off, feeling calmer, and looking for any signs. Let's see... restroom, restroom, restroom, where is the restroom?~ (-I'm pretty sure that symbol means it's kind off sung. I've only ever seen it I'm smut, so it's awkward '-_-   -)

Out of the corner of his eye, Flippy saw smudges of blue moving. Instinctively, he turned to get a better look, startled when he saw a pair of taller figures. An 8ft moose, and an anteater, only a couple of inches taller than himself. Lumpy? Sniffles? Why are they outside? Carefully, he watched their body language, quickly picking up on them both being frustrated. Flippy's ears dropped at this. He hated when people were arguing, especially friends... or I this case, a friend. Sighing, he made his way to the door, hoping to convince them to stop.

Once outside, Flippy was about to speak, when he heard the next words from Sniffles' snout.
"He is dangerous! He's attacked you!  Just look at your antler!"
Flippy froze up, his breath caught in his throat. He quickly glanced at Lumpy's antler, his heart aching. He still felt bad for his actions, wether it was him or not.

Lumpy was silent, looking at the ground.
He hates me, he hates me, he hates me...
Lumpy looked up at Sniffles.
Hehatesmehehatesmehehatesmehehatesme!
"That. Wasn't. Flippy." Lumpy hissed lowly. Flippy jumped at his, ears perking up. Does he know!? Is it normal, then!?
"And what is that supposed to mean!?" Sniffles yelled.

"I don't know! I just know he wouldn't do somefing like that. He's too nice! He's done nofing but protect me, besides flipping out."

"It is him, he's just fighting because he thinks you're an enemy soldier."

"No! That's still not right! He's not a violent person!"

"He is when he thinks it's needed. He's sick!"
Sniffles was expecting Lumpy to retort, but he never did. Instead, he stared wide-eyed over his head. As you'd expect, Sniffles turned around, just as horrified as Lumpy at what he saw. Stood behind them was the very bear they'd been discussing.
