Toothy, Cuddles and Giggles still stood in front of Flippy, looking at eachother for what to do.
"Would untying him calm him down?" Toothy asked, the others shrugging. Deciding it was better than nothing, he approached Flippy. However, Flippy finally moved, his head jerking downwards, ears perking up. He looked over the ropes, his once fearful, shaky gasps becoming feral growls. His ears drew back as he struggled against the binds.
Toothy stepped back in fear. Something's wrong. Flippy jumped to his feet, tearing through the ropes. Ok, something's definitely wrong. Flippy stood there, hunched slightly, head lowered, obscuring his face. Slowly, he raised his head. His head fur was a mess from thrashing, giving his insane eyes an even creepier look. Said eyes moved to Cuddles, just before Flippy pounced on him, paws around his neck.
Cuddles wailed, voice choked from large paws. Giggles and Toothy were quick to respond, grabbing Flippy's arms. Unfortunately, the veteran was far stronger, easily shoving them off.
Suddenly, the door burst open, Petunia, Flaky and Lumpy in the doorway. All were alarmed at the sight before them. Their calmest, most peaceful friend pinning another one of their friends on the ground, snarling like... some sort of animal! (-oh, the irony!-)
Lumpy was the first to act, using his height to his advantage. Trapping both of Flippy's arms in a bear (-pun-) hug, struggling against the smaller mammal's writhing. Despite his obvious frustration of being trapped, he... laughed. It was low and cold, a word no one expected to use when describing laughter, one of the most warming sounds you could hear... unless you have gelotophobia.
"What the fuck happened in here!?" Petunia yelled, partially mad, and partially terrified."I wish we knew," Cuddles replied, shrugging his shoulders, and rubbing his sore neck.
Lumpy was struggling against Flippy, his legs beginning to hurt after all the kicks Flippy had hit him with. Lumpy ended up walking around in an attempt to find some stabilisation. Unfortunately, he'd walked towards a wall, something Flippy soon took advantage of. He pulled his legs into a curled position, before harshly kicking, knocking the moose over. Out of shock, he'd loosened his grip on the savage bear, who was quick to his feet, and to pin the blue moose. Lumpy wailed as Flippy's knife-like claws dug through his skin, blood seeping out. Once again, no one had the strength to move to him, just getting hit in the progress.
Finally, Flaky had an idea that no one else had even bothered trying. Taking in a lung full of air, mostly out of hesitance to get the vicious veteran's attention, she screamed.
"Flippy!" She called, the bear's reaction immediate. He swiftly blinked, his eyes wide and unfocused, his mouth open slightly. His hand, which he was just about to swipe across the poor moose's face, trembled, as if Flippy had understood her, and finally come to grips with reality. The bear turned to her, giving her the soft look he always gave when scared, his lip quivering. She returned his softness with a forced, sweet smile.
Then, Flippy's head lowered, that wicked grin returning. Her smile dropped immediately as Flippy stood, approaching her slowly, but surely. Face to face with Flaky, his smile had faded, leaving behind an unempathetic, yet hostile, glare. In the blink of an eye, he'd shoved her against a wall, emitting a growl. Unlike the one he had before, which seemed more deranged, this one sounded angry and resentful. Letting out a roar of fury, he slammed his fist across her face, causing her nose to bleed. Yet, he wasn't done. He struck again, and again, and again... within about ten hits, she had a black eye, a nose bleed, and a cut across her lip, not even mentioning the bruises 'decorating' her face.
Sniffling, cotton candy pink eyes brimmed with tears, which gradually streamed down her bloody, beaten, bruised cheeks. The clenched paw hit again, but he flinched this time. He looked at the bloody paw, noticing a tiny smear of water. His eyes trailed over to her, glaring at her puffy eyes. She winced, expecting another blow. But... it never came. Cautiously, she opened a blurry eye. He was motionless, his distant eyes locked onto the ground. Flaky didn't dare move, not wanting to risk breaking him out of this odd trance. Much to her dismay, he done it himself.
He was a wet dog, shaking his head, scruffy fur following his movements. He blinked a few times, a confused look on his face. He held his head, eyes and teeth clenched slightly. Flaky couldn't hold her breath any longer. She heaved, whimpering when Flippy reacted. Then, he turned to her. Immediately, she began kicking and screaming, absolutely terrified of the bear. The frantic movements only grew as she felt him move closer. Then, she froze as he held her wrists. Her eyes locked onto his. She was startled to see tears in those gorgeous, golden eyes.
A paw was raised up to her cheek, wiping away some of the salty tears and blood. His actions were soft, hesitant, and careful. He looked truly scared.
The beautiful moment was broken when Flippy was struck by a broom over the back of the head. The bear whined, rubbing his sore head. Before the attacker could strike again, Flippy caught it, jumping when he saw the attacker. They were an all too familiar yellow rabbit with fluffy hair and a fluffy tail. Their pink eyes were filled with fury.
"Cuddles!? What the fuck!?" He hissed angrily, feeling a bit betrayed in all honesty."What the fuck indeed!" Cuddles bellowed. Flippy's eyes trailed down, seeing claw marks on his neck, and bloody tears in his hoodie. Flippy's anger soon fizzled out into fear. His eyes scanned the area. He was in his bedroom. Everyone else around him was injured, and glaring either fearfully or aggressively at him. Then, his eyes met himself. He was drenched in blood. However, he didn't feel much pain. Nowhere near the amount he should've felt with the amount of blood he had on him. Fear filled him. He had a few ideas of what happened, and none of them were good.
"So, Flippy," Giggles began, obviously trying her best to contain her rage. Flippy turned to her, part of him not wanting to hear her next words. He knew what they were gonna be. Of course, he was right."Care to explain?"
