"Here. We got you something. Hopefully, it'll make you feel safer," Petunia stated, handing Flippy a plastic bag. Inside was a change of clothes. A pine green hoodie, a pair of loose, dark brown trousers, a fresh, pristine, white tank shirt, and a pair of tan, ankle boots.

Flippy's eyes gleamed as he looked at them, his stubby tail wagging joyfully. He was excited to get out of his uniform. He opened his mouth to speak, but quickly shut it, realising he had no words to express his gratitude. But... he knew things wouldn't be this way if they knew more about him. He was a freak, a monster, a- a-
"Flippy!" Lumpy yelled, giving the bear a concerned look and a shake of his shoulders.

Flippy shook his head. He was crying again.
"Come on Flippy, smile!" He yelled, giving Flippy a toothy, albeit unsteady, grin. Flippy smiled back, hiding his teeth grinding with stress.
"You r- ready to g- get changed?" Flaky asked, gesturing to the bag loosely held by Flippy. The green bear nodded enthusiastically, not needing to be told twice. He dashed out of the room, and into the bathroom.

He gazed at himself in the mirror. He took a picture of himself with a spare phone Giggles had given him. He looked like his usual self. A roughed up soldier. Let's fix that. He took of his beret, jacket and boots. Then, he removed his shirt and trousers. Hastily, he put on the new clothing. He was done. He hesitated to look at himself. Am I ready to be someone new? A- am I ready to b- be... normal? Steadying himself, he faced the mirror. He dropped his old boots, along with his jaw. H- he... he looked... like everyone else. Now, all he needed was to get rid of the bags. But... well... he didn't look like Flippy anymore. He just looked like a green bear.

Examining himself closer, he looked at his head fur. Bed head... smiling, he brushed it through with his claws, giving it a messy look. Satisfied, he left the room, greeting the others with a pile of clothes in his arms. Petunia quickly took them, putting them aside to clean later.

To the group of three, Flippy just looked like he was wearing different clothes. To Flippy, he wasn't a soldier anymore. He had never been part of anything military. He knew it wasn't true, but he enjoyed pretending to be someone new. The group could tell he was awed by the change.
"S- so, y- you... uhh, ready to go, Honeydew?" Flaky asked, baffling Flippy.

"Honeydew?" Flippy asked, his ear twitching.

"W- we thought y- you would l- like to change from y- your code name," Flaky explained, getting a soft shake of a head.

"I refuse to change it. It wasn't given by a general. It was given by a friend. My code name was originally: Flip. But, she gave me the edited version as a nickname when I was young. She said it sounded better, which it did. They changed it once they realised I was unresponsive to the original," Flippy explained, revealing the tucked in tags. He showed the back, where one was originally stamped with:
Code name: Flip
Role: Medic
Gender: M
Blood: AB+
Decided: Yes

"What d- does 'decided' mean?" Flaky asked, Flippy jumping. He turned it to look at it.

"I, uh... hm? I don't know. Everything was explained but that. They told us not to question their judgement. My friend made a theory, but she was paranoid, and it didn't hold up... at least, back then..." Flippy trailed off, seeming to be thinking.

"What was that theory?" Lumpy asked, leaning close to get a better look at the tag.

"I'd rather not discuss. I- I'm sorry for keeping secrets, b- but i- I... I don't have a choice..." Flippy stuttered.

"Right then, whose ready for the walk?" Petunia stated.
