Reality

It was a month after Kells had her accident... we had brought her home 2 weeks ago. She still was not completely with it. She kept getting headaches but there was no brain bleeds just a major concussion. Her parents left a week ago and took the boys with them. She had to stop a lot of her classes just some she could do online but I've been doing them.

She got up off the couch. She was going slow. Then she stumbled and fell into the wall. I jumped up and ran over.

"Don't!" She yelled. She got to her hands and knees and started crawling. Zoey jumped on her.

"Jesus Christ Luke get this fucking dog!" She screamed. Zoey ran away scared."let me carry you darling." I said to her.

"Stay back Thomas."

I sat back down. It was so painful watching her do this.

"I need you to drive me to the arena for me to be there at 6." She said. I stood up.
"What!? You aren't cleared kelly. Plus all that noise and lights! And it's against Arizona...." I said worried.
"I know it's that bitches first day back from suspension I'm going!" She said rudely.
"Whatever." I said.

It was a 530. We got to the gym. We parked in handicap and I got her wheelchair out. She glared at me.

"Kelly you are to weak. Your muscles and joints aren't even close to being able to handle this."

She sat down with anger and went to wheel herself. I stopped her and knelt down in front of her.

"I will take u right back home kelly. If I keep not listening your dad will take you to the hospital back home and you will be admitted it do you understand."

She grunted. I rolled my eyes and pushed her in. I met Jaylee at the locker room door.

"Luke coach said you could sit on the bench at the end where Kells will be!" She said excited.
"Kelly..." I said she didn't even look. I kissed her head."I love you..." I said to her. Jaylee pushed her in everyone was screaming she closed the door.

"Still bad?" She asked me.
"Jay I don't know what to do...."
"She says your being to clingy."
"She fell today just walking to our doorway from the couch!" I said upset.
"I know Luke I know.... she's super depressed... she thinks you will leave her so that's why she's being mean she said it's best for you... she said you don't look at her the same..."
"What do I do?"
"Date?"
"Can you just tel her if her and I go out that she needs to not flip if I asked her to go please."
"Yes you got it.." she said the door opened.

"Ready Jay?" The coach asked.
"Yup!"
"Hi Luke. You doing okay?" She asked me.
"Hanging in there... I'll see y'all out there good luck tonight ladies."

It was game time. The away team came out. As soon as the girl who hurt Kells came out the crowd was booing and throwing stuff some making it onto the court some not. The refs cleaned it up. Then they announced the girls.

"....and finally still not realeased to play but her first game show in month number 11.... KEEEELLLLYYYY!" The announcer said everyone was screaming and on their feet. She came out in full uniform. I wasn't expecting that. Jaylee gave her a ball and wheeled her up to the net. Kells shoots and she misses. The whole place was quiet except for a chuckle or two from the other team. She tried again and missed again.

"LETS GO KELLS! LETS GO KELLS! LETS GO KELLS!" Everyone chanted. She tried again and missed. She threw the ball hitting the wall. Jaylee and coach went over. Coach kneeled down. She pointed towards me. I could see kelly
Mouth saying let me play. The coach shook her head. Kels wheeled over and parked beside me. I held her hand I saw the tears in her eyes. I kissed her cheek and she laid her head on my shoulder. This is the closest she has got to me lately.
