To the Moon and Back

Family Vacation

We got to the hotel. The boys were super excited. I'm so glad it got their mind off of it. Luke on the other hand was still super depressed. He tried to act happy but I knew he wasn't. The boys went in and jumped right on the bed. It was 8 at night so we were just going to order a pizza and start our day tomorrow.

"I'm... I'm going to go hop in the shower." He said. He grabbed stuff and walked in. I locked the door and put the extra chain on.
"Here's some snack and drinks boys. Pizza will be here in about an hour. I ordered it on my phone" I said handing them some popcorn and two soppy cups. I put on cartoons. I went to go into the bathroom but the door was locked.

"Can I come in and pee?" I asked knocking lightly. He unlocked the door. I opened it and he went to get into the shower I stopped him as I closed the door.

"Luke I know it's hard. Trust me. I can't imagine how you feel they are your boys but I'm devastated too... it will be okay. They will be okay. Her mom will be there and I know you like her mom. It will all be okay Luke. She will mess up and we will ha e them back and if she doesn't we will go for different arrangements when they are older okay." I said that. He put his hand on my cheek and rested his forehead against mine.

"I love you... the boys and I are so lucky to ha e you Kells. I've never felt so loved in my life. Those boys adore you. I adore you. Everyone adores you. I'll take your word that everything will be fine. As long as I have you then everything will be. You are our rock, you are what we needed and I'm so glad god gave me you. I'm so glad you are on this journey called life with me. I wouldn't want to be doing this with anyone else, now that I'm older and wiser, I was so young and dumb in my younger age. The only good thing that came of it are those two boys, I even almost let my singing career go because I was stupid. If I would've I wouldn't have met you. I love you so much Kelly and I can not wait to make you my wife." He said.

I felt tears go down my face. He took his thumb and pushed them away.

"I'll be out in 15 mins go have them pick a movie. Take them to the vending machine to get some snacks. We will make this the best first family vacation ever." He said.

We were coming back up from the gift shop with snacks since it was opened 24/7. We walked into the room and Luke was sitting on the couch.

"Where did you go?" He asked laughing.
"Gift shop!" I said.
"Can we give it to him now mama?" They asked.
"Go ahead."

They grabbed the bag.

"Be careful don't break it." I said as they ran over. They handed him the bag.

Luke opened it. He laughed.

"For your beer!" Bo said. Luke started laughing. It was a worlds greatest dad beer mug.
"Thanks you two" he said hugging them.

There was a knock on the door. Luke got up and grabbed his wallet. He opened the door.

"Hi pizza delivery." A younger girl said. As she was getting the pizzas and stuff out of the bag. She looked up. She almost dropped the pizza but Luke caught them.

"Oh my god! You're  Luke Bryan!" She screamed.
"Uhh yeah?" Luke said confused. He grabbed the pop that was sitting on the ground and handed it to me after he did the pizzas.
"How much?" He asked.
"A picture and autograph will cover it! No one will believe me!" She said.
" no pictures or autographs. How much" he said. She wouldn't answer.
"Here" he said handing her a 50.
"That should do." He said closing the door. 

I just smirked at him.

"I hate people like that...." he said coming and sitting  down.

The next day we were up earlier and on our way to the park! The boys barely slept they were so excited. As soon as we walked in they both started pulling us In different directions.

"Okay boys enough" Luke snapped. They both clung to me.he ran his hands through his hair after he took his hat off. Tate wanted me to hold him. I held him and held Bos had.

"I'm sorry boys..." Luke said.

"Look!" Bo said ignoring Luke.
"Woody!" Tate said excited. They went running over. I walked over the boys were hugging him.
"Kelly I'm sorry...." Luke said.
"Listen these boys are confused and scared. If you are going to flip we are going home I feel like shit even being here I don't feel good st all. But I'm pushing through it now your ass better push through it or if you keep acting like this they will be excited to go with Coraline." I said sternly.

It was the last day of vacation. We were going to the zoo and then getting on a flight back home tonight. The boys went with Coraline tomorrow at 3. It was 530 in the morning they were still sleeping. Luke was in the  bathroom showering. I went in and he looked out.

"Good morning beautiful." He said. I smiled.
"Morning."
"How are you feeling today?" He asked.
"Tired, sore..." I said I had missed the day with them yesterday because I was so weak and tired.
"I'm sorry. The boys are still out why don't you come get into a hot shower?" He asked smiling.
"Because all I want is to fuck you..." I said. He blushed.
" what's so wrong with that?" He asked smirking.

I pointed to my head.

"I'm sorry..." he said as I leaned against the wall.
"I'll hurry up and then I'll run you a hot bath."
"Thanks..." I said sitting on the floor now.
"So..." He saidbas He was in the shower.
"Yeah?"
"Are you going back to campus in the spring?" He asked. Wow I haven't thought about that.
"I haven't really thought about it." I replied...." I have thought about trying to start conditioning for next season...."

He dropped something he looked out.

"Absolutely not kelly." He said very sternly.
"But Luke...."
"Kelly.... not okay...."
"Fine..." I said looking down.

He got out and started running the water for a bath. He came over after he wrapped his towel around his waist. He squatted down. He put his finger under my chin.

"Hey... I almost lost you kelly. I finally got you back. I know you love the game but less than a year isn't enough time to recover from this okay" He said.
"Okay...." I said. He helped me up. He hugged me. 
"I love you more than anything kelly"
"I love you too luke..."
