Truth be told.

I stood up.

"Mike a word." I said sternly. Everyone was silent especially the girls but of course the guys stopped talking since none of the girls were.
"Dude I'm eating I'm trying to hurry" he said.
"NOW!" I said louder. People were looking. He got up and walked outside with me. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes and lit one.

"Dude That isn't cool." I said.
"Luke you smoke occasionally."
"Not that dumb ass! The emily hanging out with derron thing. You do know he would hit kelly right emily saw marks on Kells.

"People change..." He said.
"Bring her or him around my fiancé again and I will make sure you don't have a job."
"Stop using my job against me Luke!"
"Mike! She ruined your life! You have nothing, When and if yo sure ever home you live off of the same dinner for a week or ramen noodles! You have nothing! You don't even have your dignity anymore man."
"Pay me better."
"Dude I give you close to 6 grand a month for nothing! You pay your rent, which is what 760? Your utilities so I'll say like 1200 if that for everything and the rest is hers!"
"You aren't my father Luke you can't tell me how to spend my money."
"No but I can tell you to figure out how to pay for your own shit on the road."
"You always pa for everything luke."
"Guess what. I'm done. No more plane tickets no more meals, no more rooms no more drinks. Figure Your shit out...."

I walked in. Kelly was sitting next to Dierks now. She saw me and stood up and moved over s seat. I leaned down to Dierks.

"She okay?" I whispered.

He nodded as he took s bite. I sat down. She laid her head on my shoulder I kissed the top of her head.

"I love you." She said kissing me now. She started to get real into It. I stopped.
"Come over tonight?" I asked her.
"I can't. I never see the girls."
"Invite them down.. seriously this summer girls week st our house" I said.
"Seriously?"
"He'll bring them all to spring break!"
"Babe they are college students they can't afford that."
"All my treat. Girls week in Panama City then girls week in Georgia"
"I knew I loved you for a reason." She said kissing me.

"Get a room!!" A guy yelled. By her reaction I knew It was Derron. I stood up. I turned around. The restaurant was silent.

"Boy I warned you!" I yelled.
"Bring It pretty boy!" He yelled. My face was red my hands were in fist. I went to go but kelly pulled me back.

"Please luke don't." She said.
"Yeah Luke don't" He said mocking her. "Listen to your little girlfriend" he said.

She walked over to him. She looked up at him.

"Grow a fucking set and get over me... you would beat me up I don't get why you are obsessed with me ." She said.
"Don't talk to me like that you little whore" He said and before I knew it he slapped her across the face.

I was over there so fast. I had him on the ground with my hands around his throat. He was struggling to breathe.

Before I knew it I heard sirens and police running in. One pulled me off and went to cuff me. Derron was unconscious. I broke out of the cops grip and ran to kelly who was sitting against the wall crying. I picked her up.

"Sir! You are under arrest!" And officer said. I didn't care. I went straight out to the truck. I put the tailgate down and sat her up there.

"Baby...baby....... baby!" I yelled she was in shock. I think everyone from the restaurant was out I the parking lot. A police officer came over with the manager of the Restaurant.

"Mr. Bryan" the manager said.
"Listen they can arrest me after I make sure my fiancé is okay. But someone better get that kid out of here before i kill him." I said.
