Training.

✨Your POV✨

No I can't, never again. Shaking sweating I sit up my breath flickering. I tug at the sheets pulling them close to my face. My unkept fingernails dig into my face through the gentle cloth. Moving slowly I rise. The black leggings I found myself in felt too tight. The cloth around my chest strangling. I stumble out of the room and into the lengthy hallway that stretches on engulfing the castle. Staggering around my footsteps lightly echoing through the hall. Minutes pass with a steady beat of silence. I hear a door slide open and carelessly I lift my head. Shiro stands in front of me, sweat drops rolling down his face. His shirt clung tight to his chest outlining every one of his muscles. He glances up not having noticed my presence. "Hey." He says panting.

"Hi." Legend. That's what he is. In the flesh. But at this moment he seems so, human. Honestly I don't know what to say. So I don't say anything.

"Have you used the training area yet?"

"Yeah, but it didn't go so well." This is unbearably awkward. "I should try to get some sleep."

"Do you want to get in a short workout before, I heard it helps you sleep better." He gestures to the doorway. My stomach turns in knots and weakly I nod. He leads me to the center of the training floor and quickly jumps into a fighting stance. "No weapons." I nod again still unable to speak. He throws a punch at my head and swiftly I dodge it my toes gripping the floor. I sweep kick but he jumps my foot missing his legs. With a hard blow he punches my stomach causing me to fall back. I roll over missing his punch by an inch. Scrambling to my feet I mange to elbow him on the way up. We stand frozen anticipating the next move. Staring into his eyes something changes, they go from friendly and focused to this dark almost blood shot look. In a flash he tackles me pinning me down. He was breathing quickly and sweat drops coated his forehead. His hands pressed into my arms. Hard. I let out a small whimper of pain. "No-no." He hisses not moving his eyes from mine. His hands let go and just as I make a swing at him he grabs my throat.

"Sh-Shiro?" An ocean has filled my lungs and slowly the sea level is rising. He pulls me to my feet. I make weak attempts to kick and thrash about but my limbs give into shock. I feel my back hit the wall and I hang.

"Where did you go!? Where!?" He shouts at me. Tears start rolling down my cheeks. Blackness creeps in from the corners of my vision.

I'm going to die.

Then I'm thrown to the floor. Air floods my lungs and I lie helpless. "Shiro." I whisper still gasping for the dry air.

"You did this! You've destroyed me! I'm no longer human thanks to you." He kicks me hard in the side. I start crawling away. I feel drops of blood slip out of my mouth. Then his foot hits my back forcing me to fall to the ground again.

"Please no!" I scream tears still falling. "Shiro!" Then I feel the pressure leave my spine. I flip over to see Shiro on the floor in a ball shaking. Keith stands over him screaming muffled words. My eyelids stoop and I lay my head on the floor. I feel warm arms brace me under my head.

"Shiro what the hell did you do to her!?" I feel him move away. I don't want to open my eyes, ever again. If they are closed then I'll be safe. I hear a hollow noise. Then again. He was kicking maybe punching Shiro. I want to let him continue.

"Keith." I groan. The noise stops. I have to. Slowly I open my eyes to see Shiro on his side shaking and I see clear drops hit the floor. His face is clouded with purples and greens. I crawl over to the two of them. "Keith, what's wrong with him?" I mutter placing my hand on Shiro's head.

"I'm not sure. But that doesn't matter! He hurt you!"

"No." I gently say.

"What do you mean no!? (Y/n) he tried to kill you!"

"Keith. I don't think he meant to, he was blaming me for things that I didn't do. Who ever really did hurt him left scars deeper than the one on his face. So please refrain from killing him until we figure out what's wrong." Keith looks at me blankly as I unsteadily stand up. The galra prisoner clothes I'm still wearing were dotted by blood and tears. I clench the cloth in my fist. I could feel my heart beating. Pounding against the walls of my chest.

What happened to you...out there.
