Sleep and Cookies

Anthony's POV
Today's practice we started working on dances for different songs. We mostly worked on songs from the first part of Act 1 so Katie and I were working non-stop (totally not sorry) so in other words whenever we weren't practicing, Katie was sleeping. We just finished Story of Tonight and Lin was giving everyone a quick five minute break before we started Schuyler Sisters. I walk off the stage and see Katie run off somewhere. I didn't think much of it and quickly got a drink.

Ten minutes later

"Where the hell is Katie?!" Lin yells. I look around. Hm I guess she wasn't in her spot. I then get an idea. "I think I know where she maybe." I grab Lin and run up to the balcony. I climb the stairs and find Katie asleep behind an empty box. "Oh my-" "Shh!" I cut Lin off. "I got an idea!" I crawl down next to her and start petting her head. Then a devilish smirk grows on my face. Lin looks scared, "what are you-" I then start yelling near Katie's head. She sits up with the most terrified look and swings a punch as she sits up, making direct contact with Lin's stomach. He whines. "Oops sorry!"

Katie's POV
I wake up to someone yelling. My instant reaction is fight and I swing making contact with someone. I hear Lin grunt. "Oops sorry!" I get up and help Lin stand back up. "It's fine just stay awake during practice!"

We start walking back when I make a small realization, "hey babe?" Anthony turns, "yes my sweet?" "We never told your fans about us dating yet have we?" I say laying my head on his shoulder. "I guess we haven't," he says with a smile, "but we will eventually!"

Time skip-after practice

Why did practice feel ten times longer today?! I walk out of my dressing room and walk towards Anthony's. I knock on the door to Oak answering it. "Oh hey Katie! Looking for Ant?" "Who else would I be looking for?" We laugh. "Is he not in here?" Oak sighs, "no I think he went to the break room." "Break room? Why wou-" I gasp, "No!" I run to the break room to see Anthony shoveling cookies into his mouth. "Excuse me!" He jumps back and smiles, "hi Katie..." I cross my arms, "you know I was saving those for later!" He looks down, "sorry..." I walk over to him, "nope no sorry you are buying me more cookies, tonight." Just then Thayne runs in, "who's getting cookies?" I laugh, "more like who's getting me more after they ate all mine!" Thayne gasps, "COOKIE ABUSE!" We all laugh. I push Thayne out the door, "goodbye Thayne!" "But I want cookies-" I close the door on him.

"Let's go get more cookies," Anthony says. "Finally!" We laugh and walk out of the theater. We walk down the street to a small Italian Bakery. I run up to the counter and start ordering a bunch of my favorite Italian desserts. "How much are you getting?" Anthony asks as he walks into the bakery. "Everything!" I yell excitedly. I'm about to turn to him when he walks up and kisses me. I kiss back and smile into it. He pulls away, does a few things on his phone and puts it away. I feel my phone ding and I pull it out. "You tagged me in a video?" I ask him confused. I watch the video and see he posted a video of us kissing with a caption: My one and only 🔥❤️

"So that's how you are telling your fans?" I say turning to him. He smiles, "indeed I am!" He kisses me on the cheek. The baker gives me the cookies and Anthony pays, "Jesus woman how many cookies do you need?" I smile and continue down the street to our apartment.

We walk into the apartment and I quickly turn on the tv and enjoy my cookies. Anthony sits next to me and reaches for a cookie. I slap his hand lightly, "nope you are all mine earlier you don't get any now!" He pouts, "please my love? Please? Por favor? Per favore?" I smile, "oh so you learned how to say please in Italian just to beg me in three languages?" He smiles "maybe..." I smile, "you can have one." He smiles and grabs a cookie. We snuggle on the couch until we fall asleep.
