An unexpected visit

Time skip to the day before opening night (way to lazy, sorry)

Katie's POV
Tomorrow was opening night of Hamilton. Everyone was super excited! Lin decided it would be a good idea to give people with smaller parts more stage time so when I wasn't Peggy, I was part of the ensemble.

I woke up to the smell of bacon and light music playing. I crawl out of bed, grab one of my fuzzy blankets and walk to the kitchen. Anthony is there in his night shorts dancing around. I lean on the doorframe and try to hold in my laughter. He continues to dance turning and jumping. He spins and stops looking at me. His face turns red in embarrassment, "how long were you there?" "The long enough," I laugh. "Really?" Ant asks. I then start to dance around mocking his movements. We both laugh and started getting ready for our day.

Time skip~ at final dress rehearsal
Anthony's POV

We are finally close to opening night. Katie had been really stressed lately and been really missing home. Especially her brother Jacob whose in the military. I decide to call a friend before we do one final run through.

?-"Hello?"

Ant-"Hey man it's Ant."

?-"Oh hey how's Katie?"

Ant-"She's good."

?-"Has she figured out the surprise?"

Ant-"Oddly no. Hopefully she likes it."

?-"I do too. Hey I gotta go, see you later!"

Ant-"Later man."

I sigh in relief. Hopefully she likes her surprise.

~Time skip~the next day~brought to you by pure laziness

Katie's POV

5 MINUTES BEFORE SHOWTIME!! Everyone quickly runs to their spots and wishes each other luck. Ant and I stand across the stage from each other so we always blow each other a kiss. The lights dim and the orchestra begins...

BUM BADADA DUM DUM DUM

Time to go to work.

~Time skip to end of show~

The show went great! Everyone did amazing. I will say I did cry both times Ant died. It's time for curtain call and we all walk to the front of the stage. Everyone bows and waves. Lin then steps forward and addresses the crowd. "Hello Hello Hello! Thank you all for coming to our first show ever! We have a few cast members I'd like to point out: Phillipa Soo, Leslie Odom Jr., Katie Adams... speaking of Katie Adams can you come here for a second?"

I walk next to Lin and wave a little to the crowd. "How are you doing Katie?" "Doing fantastic Lin." "So Katie, you have a brother in the military, true or false?" I furrow my eyebrows, "um... true?" Lin smiles, "I see. And where is he now?" "He is stationed in Afghanistan right now." I say with a smile. Lin's smile gets bigger, "no he's not." I give him a glare, "what are you-" suddenly a pair of arms wrap around my waist, "Buon lavoro, Katie." I turn quickly and come face to face with "Jacob?" I smile and jump onto him crying. "You're not supposed to be home for another 2 months!" "Awe now I couldn't have missed my little sister's broadway debut!"

Lin walks to the front of the stage, "thanks again everyone and hope you have a great night!" Finally the curtains close. I pull away from Jacob and see Anthony walking towards us with a smile. I point at him, "you did this!" "Indeed I did..."
