The next week was movie week, where we would pick a song from movie you have seen. Sam and I both stayed in, although Sam was in the bottom, which was bullshit. He did great, and he shouldn't have been in the bottom. Ben went home, but I didn't know him that well.

On the way back to the hotel, we were all very excited.

"We are going on the summer tour together!" shouted Malaya in the limo. I was so excited to go on the tour, that meant I had a guaranteed job for the summer, and I would be with these awesome people!

"No, Alyssa, it is a simple 1, 2, 3 beat! Ready, go!" said Randy for the tenth time. I was recording today because it would be on iTunes. This week we had to pick a pop song, and I picked Here's To Never Growing Up, by Avril Lavigne. But I was really regretting it because I couldn't get it right. Finally, after twenty tries, I got through the whole song flawlessly.

"That's what I'm talking about, Alyssa! Great job!" said Randy as he gave me a high-five.

"Thanks, so can I take a break now?" I asked hopefully. I was super tired and all this singing was making my throat hurt.

"Okay, but keep practicing for Wednesday's show," he said. I thanked him and headed back to my room.

When I got back to my room, Malaya, Jena, Jess, and Majesty were there, watching TV. We got different rooms so that all the girls were in one hotel room and all the guys were in the other.

"Hey Alyssa, what took you so long? We've been here for, like, half an hour," said Majesty.

"Sorry guys, it took me a long time to get my song right for iTunes." I said. They had all finished before me. I set my bag down and sat on the couch next to Malaya. We watched TV for a half hour, then Jess clicked the tv off.

"So, what's been going on with you and Sam?" she asked. I really didn't want to talk about this right now.

"Nothing," I simply said, turning on my phone so I looked busy.

"O c'mon, it seems like you guys aren't as close together as you were at auditions," said Jena. And I could agree with that.

"Guys, nothing is going on, okay? We are the same couple that we were before American Idol," I said, kind of annoyed. They all said 'okay' and turned the TV back on.

Before the show on Wednesday, I was really nervous. I still don't know if I have the song down.

We opened the show with a tape of us on the radio with Ryan Seacrest. Then we started the show. Other contestants went before me, including Majesty, Jena, and Caleb. They were all so good, it would be hard to beat them.

The next person to sing was Sam, and he was singing We Are Young, by FUN. I wished him good luck then he went backstage to get ready.

When we got back from the commercial break, Sam began his performance.

Give me a second I,

I need to get my story straight,

My friends are in the bathroom getting higher than the Empire State

My lover she's waiting for me

Just across the bar,

my seats been taken by some sunglasses asking bout a scar and

I know I gave it to you months ago,

And...my seats been taken...just across the bar...

He shook his head and played his guitar for about three seconds then got back on track.

What was going on? Why was he making so many mistakes?

Sam finally made it through the song, but the judges said that that was the worst performance of the night. He looked like he was about to cry on stage, or pass out.

He came back to the lounge looking very upset, and sat right next to me. Then we went to a commercial break.

"Oh, my God I am so going home," he said as he put us head in his hands. I hugged him to try to make him feel better.

"No you won't, I promise," I said. Although I didn't know what would happen. Usually when a contestant messes up, they go home. Soon it was my turn to perform, and I knew what I had to do.

So...What do you think she is going to do? What will be the consequences? Only I know :)

I hope you all voted last night as many times as possible, and we will see what happens tonight on AI!
