Chapter Fourteen

"Sorry, Mais, can I steal Tom for a bit?" Jay asked. We were sitting on our bed watching a movie when Jay entered.

"What is it for?" Tom asked, not moving his eyes from the screen.

"Kassimuss wishes to see you," He paused and then added, "alone."

I looked up at Jay. He had a stern expression, but Tom continued to ignore his presence.

"Tom." I said. He looked down at me.

"What does he want me for?"

"Didn't say. Just come, would you?" Jay began getting impatient.

"If he wants to talk to me, Maisie should be able to come."

"Tom, just go. Please, don't be difficult." I begged. He looked down at me.

"No, Mais. If he wants to say something to me than you can hear it too." Tom told me.

"Seriously, mate, are you on your time of the month or something? He just wants to ask you something." Jay rolled his eyes. I giggled at his joke.

"Whatever." Tom paused the moment. "I won't be a minute, love." He said, leaning over to kiss me quickly before following Jay out. I smiled at the tingly feeling left on my lips.

"Knock, knock." I heard someone say. I looked up to see Siva in the doorway.

"Hey." I smiled.

"You seem happy. Have you two finally done it?" Siva asked. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"No, Seev. You know we haven't." I rolled my eyes.

"Aww, did I make little Maisie blush?" Siva cooed, coming over and pinching my cheek. I hit his hand away.

"Shut up, Siva. We will when I'm ready." I said confidently as he sat down beside me.

"You know that's why Kassimuss wanted to see him. Well, most likely. He's getting impatient." Siva told me.

"About what? Why is it so important we mate?" I wondered.

"It... it just is." Siva shrugged. I groaned.

"I feel like a bad enough 'mate' as it is." I groaned.

"What do you mean? Tom loves you."

"I'm such a disappointment. He's been searching for the perfect mate to mate with and probably have children with for centuries and he got stuck with me." I muttered. "I can see it that he feels sadness when I break away from him when our kisses become too intimate. I can see his eyes darken whenever someone asks us if we've mated yet."

"Well, Mais. What are you scared of? Tom loves you. He won't hurt you." Siva asked.

"I don't know." I said after a minute of thinking.

"Well there you go. When there's nothing to hold you back, you can go as far as you'd like." He smiled before standing up. "I gotta go. Keep thinking about what I said." He winked before leaving.

He was right. I didn't really know why I was scared. Which meant I shouldn't be.

I looked up as Tom stomped back into the room, a hard expression on his face.

"What happened?" I asked. He didn't reply; just played the movie and snuggled me against him.

Eventually, I fell asleep like this.

I heard a grandfather clock from downstairs chime as my eyes snapped open. Tom was laying beside me on his phone.

"Ello, love." He smiled, kissing the top of my head.

This is it.

Nothing can hold me back.

I leaned up and pressed my lips against him. I took full control, my tongue entering his mouth and exploring every inch.

My hands moved up and down his hard torso as I kissed him.

"Mais..." he moaned, kissing my neck as I unbuttoned his shirt and threw it to the floor.

"Shh." I ordered while my hands explored his abs.

His hands slid my shirt over my head me began playing with my bra.

He pulled me on top of him and began bucking his hips to grind on me. I moaned quietly and leaned down to kiss him.

"Maisie." He whispered, his voice even more husky than usual.

"Mmhmm?" I asked as he left multiple lovebites around my neck and chest.

"Make love to me."
