"Babe, you are one hundred percent sure about this, right?" Tom asked me the night before our wedding. I nodded as we lay together in our room in the cabin. I was curled up against his chest and his strong arms were wound protectively around my body. "I'm sorry again about all of this. I don't even know how the physical wedding is going to turn out." He chuckled nervously.
"It doesn't matter to me. I don't even know what my wedding dress is going to look like. But it doesn't matter because I'm marrying you and that's all I care about." I smiled.
"Where should we honeymoon? I think they're letting us choose that."
"We should wait for the honeymoon to make sure your brother's threat is gone." I suggested. "By the way, Tom, you never did tell me why you and Carmichael hate each other so much."
"That isn't a story for right now. We should get some sleep as tomorrow will be a long day." He said, changing the subject.
"Okay, fine." I agreed, looking up at him. He had stubble growing around his lips.
I pushed myself up to kiss him quickly before sinking into the pillow. He chuckled softly, his chest vibrating with his laugh. It was the most adorable thing ever.
"You're perfect to me. You know that, right?" He asked softly, kissing my forehead.
"And you're perfect to me." I replied with a smile.
"I love you, Maisie. Forever and always. You'll always be my queen."
"You'll always be my king."
"Thank you, love. For putting up with me. I love you so much." He said, snuggling me closer against him.
"I love you too. More than anything." I sighed contentedly, closing my eyes and leaning my forehead against his warm chest.

The next day everything was crazy. The girls were going insane trying to make sure everything was perfect. The boys were going insane because the girls were insane.
Kassimuss and Assysilies were busy with security of the wedding place so that it ran smoothly.
Meanwhile, it was noon and Tom and I were still snuggled up in bed. That is, until Hailey and Talia dragged me away to dress me and Max and Jay pulled Tom away to be dressed.
Hailey and Talia ordered me to take a shower and brush my teeth and so I did so quickly. The shower helped with the knots in my back and helped relax my muscles as I was a bit nervous about this day.
"Here is your wedding dress!" Danielle smiled, walking in with a long plastic bag with a hanger. She hung up the hanger on the back of the door and took off the plastic cover. There laid a white brides dress.
"Do you love it?" Hailey asked me.
"Yeah, it's nice." I smiled half-heartedly. It wasn't what I would have chosen for myself, but it was quite pretty. It had a sweetheart neckline and the plain white bodice was covered with a thin layer of white shimmery lace with a pattern of small silver sequins. The skirt began in a v-shape against the bodice and went out like an upside-done teacup. There were three puffy layers of skirt that made it look almost like a medieval times ball gown. The skirt had a silk lace pattern over it that matched the bodice, however it didn't have any glitter to it.
"Okay, Talia, you get started on hair and I will do makeup." Hailey said. Talia nodded and began brushing through my long reddish-auburn hair while Hailey began caking up my face with makeup. I didn't traditionally wear any makeup except some mascara and maybe some concealer sometimes.
I was getting so bored of the two pampering me that I kept dozing off. It felt like I had been sitting for hours while they tried to make me look presentable.
"Okay, now let's see the finished product." Talia finally said, helping me up out of my chair. I stared at myself in the full-length mirror against the wall.
"Don't you simply love it?" Hailey marveled.
"Uh, yeah." I fake smiled. No, my appearance wasn't appalling and no they didn't make me look completely awful. The dress was nice, my hair was curled to perfection, and my makeup was soft and subtle. It just wasn't what I would have chosen for myself.
"Hailey, Talia, we need help setting up the food." Jacie said, entering the room. "By the way, Maisie, you look amazing!"
"Alright, Mais, don't leave this room. We'll be back in a minute." Hailey said, the three of them scurrying out. I went over to the chair and sat back down, looking at myself in the small dresser mirror.
"It is a mystery, isn't it? How you, of all people, ended up in this situation." Someone said in a sickening raspy voice. I spun to see what looked like an older version of Tom. It must have been Carmichael.
"What are you doing here?" I asked cautiously, standing up and backing away.
"Isn't it obvious? Your little wedding isn't so secret. I have my soldiers preparing to drop bombs of Obenca all over this little hideaway. But before they do so, I have to take you, my love."
Alarmed, I opened my mind to send a message to Tom.
"Oh, and so that you don't mind link Tom..." he pulled out a cloth and wrapped it around my mouth. I tried not to breathe in the chemicals but they got into my lungs, making me cough a bit before I felt myself relaxing and slowly slipping into unconsciousness.
