Chapter Seven - Nair and First Kisses.

"Thanks for today, Reg," River said while sipping on the milkshake she got from pops.

"Did you enjoy yourself?" Reggie asked and River nodded.

"Yeah, thanks," River lied, she just wanted Reggie to drive her home. They have been on the parking lot of Pop's for nearly twenty minutes now.

"So do you-" Reggie began but River interrupted him.

"Yeah, Reg can you drop me home? I feel really sick," River lied and Reggie raised an eyebrow at her before starting the ignition.

Ten minutes later Reggie pulled up outside the Sinclair house hold.

"So, um, yeah thanks for-" River began but before she could finish her sentence Reggie kissed her and she pulled away instantly.

"Woah, dicko, what are you doing?" River said slightly pushing him away and Reggie rolled his eyes.

"River, Just relax come on," Reggie said putting a hand on her lap and leaning in again but this time River manage to move out of his way.

"Okay, Reggie, yeah, thanks for today. Bye." River said before quickly opening the car door and running up the porch steps and into her house.

She walked passed the kitchen ignoring her mother's calls and ran up the stairs to her brothers room. She didn't even bother knocking she pushed open the door revealing Jughead and Owen doing homework on the bed.

"I need to bleach my lip, a boy just kissed me." River said and Jughead's eyes widened.

"Been there, done that." Owen said before biting the pencil and looking back at him math book. Jughead and River both shot him a look of confusion and Owen felt their eyes on him, and he sighed before looking up at them.

"I kissed a boy in freshman year. I wanted to see if I was gay or not. I'm definitely not gay," Owen explained and Jughead just shook his head at his friend before turning to River who was holding back tears.

"Riv, don't cry," Jughead said standing up and pulling River into a hug. Owen noticed his sister crying and stood up to rub her back.

"Was it that bad?" Owen asked and River sighed before sitting down on Owens bed and Jughead smacked Owen in the chest.

"Dude, don't be fucking insensitive," Jughead said and Owen shrugged.

"I'm sorry, Jug, but River has never specified her sexuality. She's just said that she wasn't straight. What are you, Riv?" Owen asked and Jughead glared at him.

"She's a girl, who is crying her eyes out. Can you please try to be a tiny bit sensitive, you giant dick," Jughead said and Owen glared at him.

"And I'm a guy who is confused as fuck. River why are you crying?" Owen asked his sister and  River sighed before wiping her eyes with her sleeve.

"Reggie Mantle was my first kiss. That's why I'm crying. Reggie probably knows that I'm not straight because of the way I reacted and now everyone at school is going to know. So go fuck yourself, Owen," River said and Owen shook his head before sitting down next to River.

"Reggie mantle isn't your first kiss, Riv. You had your first kiss when you were five," Owen said and River shot him a look of confusion.

"I think I would know when I had my first kiss," River said and Owen shook his head, smiling slightly.

"Nope. Jughead was your first kiss. We were in his tree house and I dared you to kiss him, and you did," Owen said and River scrunched up her face before looking at Jughead who had the same disgusted expression on his face.

"How did I not know this? Why can't I remember?" Jughead asked and River nodded in agreement.

"He's fucking with us, Jug. Just look at his smug smile. He's evil," River said making Owen chuckle.

"Fine. Don't believe me," Owen said smirking and River just rolled her eyes.

"What am I going to do about Reggie?" River said while putting her head in her hands.

"Listen, if Reggie tells anyone at school that you aren't straight, we will put Nair in his shampoo," Owen said while putting his arm around his sister and River chuckled.

"You know Veronica came over today," Jughead said changing the subject and River gasped before looking at him.

"That's not fair, Owen got a unfair advantage," River said and Owen scoffed.

"I wish. Jughead was your personal wingman. I couldn't flirt with her without him interjecting," Owen said and River smiled before hugging Jughead.

"Jughead, you get free burgers for a week." River said and Jughead laughed while Owen rolled his eyes.
