Chapter Nine- Spiderman and Lara Croft. Part one.

Owen woke up to his sisters screaming. He quickly jumped out of bed, grabbed a baseball bat and ran into his sisters room. When he ran in he saw River standing on her bed.

"What is it?!" Owen said holding up the bat and looking at his sisters.

"There's a fucking spider, Wen!" River cried and Owen dropped the bat and glared at her.

"It's five in the morning, and you were screaming because of a spider?" Owen asked and River glared at him.

"It's one in the afternoon, you dick. Please kill it," River said and Owen sighed before shrugging.

"Where is it?" Owen asked and River let out a breath of relief before pointing to the spider on the wall. Owen followed her finger and jumped when he spotted it.

"That fucking spider is on steroids," Owen said and River rolled her eyes. Owen quickly went over the wall and took the spider off and was now holding it in his hands.

"Okay, now squish it," River said and Owen shot her a look before shaking his head.

"I'm not squishing it. I'm gonna keep it, gonna name him Kim, and it's going to produce tiny little- OW I THINK THE FUCKER BIT ME," Owen said before running to the window and throwing the spider out while River laughed at him.

"It's not funny Riv. I can't handle the responsibility of being Spiderman," Owen said looking at his hand and River rolled her eyes before jumping off her bed.

"As if the universe will allow you to be Spiderman. If you became a super hero we would be doomed," River said while walking to her dressing table and Owen just flipped her the bird before realising something.

"That's it, I've got an idea about my costume. I know what I'm going to wear." Owen said before walking out of her room.

"You've had the mask on the whole ride here, are you sure you can breath, Wen?" River asked looking at her brother who was dressed as Spiderman and Owen nodded.

"Regardless if I can breath or not, I can't take the mask off. It's my costume," Owen said and River rolled her eyes before looking at the house. They were an hour late because Owen took ages to get ready and the party was in full swing.

"You've got your water pistols, if anyone bothers you and you can't find me, you know what to do," Owen said and River rolled her eyes.

"I will squirt them with water," River said and Owen nodded.  Before Owen could reply a drunk jock approached them, he was dressed as superman.

"Is it true you guys are twins?" The guy slurred and Owen and River looked at each other before laughing. Owen took off his mask and  put an arm around his sister before looking back at the jock.

"Yeah, we're identical," Owen joked and River laughed. The jock looked at them for a really long time before gasping.

"Dude, I totally see it. She's like a female version of you!" The drunk teen exclaimed before screaming something about twins walking away and Owen and River looked at each other before laughing.

"Try not to drink too much, yeah?" River said to her brother and Owen scoffed before putting his mask on again.

"I don't get drunk, Riv. I'm like a werewolf," Owen said and River rolled her eyes.

Two hours later and Owen was drunk, and dancing in the middle of the room with Veronica who was also kinda drunk while River watched jealously she was also kinda drunk. Everyone at this party was kind of drunk. 

"The beautiful Lara Croft," A voice said as River rolled her eyes.

"Hey, Reggie," River said and Reggie smirked at her. He was dressed as a pirate.

"Wanna get out of here?" Reggie asked and River groaned before plastering on a fake smile.

"Yeah, How about you go to Pop's and I go home?" River asked and Reggie chuckled before shooting her a look of confusion.

"Where did this newfound confidence come from?" Reggie asked and River held up her red solo cup.

"Punched infused with a shit ton of vodka, kinda gives you the confidence. Now if you don't mind," River said before trying to walk about but Reggie grabbed her wrist. River gasped before pulling out her water pistol and squirting it in his face before walking away.

River was at the punch table when her brother approached her. He took of his mask before grabbing her shoulders.

"I signed us up for a dance off," Owen slurred over the music and River nodded excitedly, before sipping from her red solo cup.

"Dude, lets fucking do it. We are so good and dancing!" River exclaimed and Owen nodded.

"Right?! That's what I said!" Owen shouted over the music before taking River's drink from her and drinking it.

"Come on, after Cheryl and Ginger we are next," Owen said before grabbing River's hand and dragging her to the living room where the Just dance battle was happening.
