The next deckro, Shad and Ziko found Colan. He was painting a natural-grown flower. Shad tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey."

"What in-" Colan stepped back and looked at Ziko. He looked at the shadow gian. "What is going on?"

"I thought about what you said?"

"You chose to switch sides?"

"Yes." Shad replied. "And this is Ziko by the way."

"Hello." The Zikor waved. Colan waved hesitantly.

"Welcome to Giri, new friend." Colan greeted. "Officially, this time."

"Thanks." Colan brought Shad and Ziko to Kuncagai, the living place of the gians. When the main house gians saw Shad and Ziko, they rose in surprise. Beku was also there.

"What is this?" Beku asked.

"This is Shad and Ziko." Colan introduced. "They are on our side."

"It's great to see you, Ziko." Mesan said, patting Ziko's back. "Glad to see you alright."

"I've endured a lot of pain, but it was worth it."

"I don't know." Aruki said. "How do we know that Shad is on our side?"

"If you have doubts," Shad took out a binder and plopped onto the table. "Then look at this."

Theon took the binder and skimmed through it. He closed it. "Well, then. I guess we do have a new gian that will sit at this table during meetings. I don't know what I can do for Ziko, though."

"I just want to live a normal life." Ziko said. "I've spent all of my life in a prison cell, so maybe I could be part of a wandering caravan or something?"

"I know of one that would be open to a new member." Beku said. "I don't know how well they would take a Zikor though. The Zikor don't have the best of a reputation."

"Then make me a Dian of Shadow."

"I could change your chra, but I would only be able to do it once. And I don't think it would be irreversible."

"I would get used to it. And I already resemble a Dian."

"He has a point." Aruki commented. Beku moved the binder.

"Lay on the table."

"Wait, you want to do it now?" Shad said.

"The sooner he changes, the more used to his form he will be."

"...True." Shad looked at Ziko and hugged him. He put his hands on his kin's shoulders. "You really want to do this?"

"Yes."

"Good Luck."

"Thanks." Ziko laid down on the table and the other gians waited at a safe distance. Beku put his left hand over the Zikor's stomach and his right hand was placed on Ziko's head. There was a bright grey light and then Ziko had changed, not dramatically but enough to tell.

"There. It is done." Beku said. "This job is always interesting, huh?"

"Yep. Always something new." Theon said. And so Ziko joined the Cabin Caravan. He met a girl as well, who quickly became his kante. Shad was welcomed into the girite gian group. He began to help them move against Zime, slowly but steadily.
