A/N: hey guys! This chapter contains slight (very slight!) mention of sexual assault. Please do not read if you will feel triggered in anyway. I want nothing but love and happiness for my readers(:

Kelly's POV:

My leg bounced nervously under a black gated table as I waited outside of an outdoor cafe at a table for two. Two white neatly polished plates were placed at each end of the circular table. The waitress walked over and offered me tea and a warm biscuit as I waited for my guest to arrive. But the food and tea were left untouched since I was unable to stomach anything.

My world stopped spinning when Ian told me he tracked down the buyers list from king's exchange and found that Gregory McDermott had been the one to post a large offer for me to be handed over to him alive. I knew what Gregory was capable of. I've seen it with my own eyes. So the thought of the boys being anywhere near this man was enough to drive me crazy. I was willing to stop him at any cost.

Every once in a while my memory vividly takes me back two years to when I was in Ireland for two weeks. I remember screaming at Anna to listen to me, trying to convince her that her plan was destructive and would not help us catch the mastermind behind the entire sex trafficking ring. But she didn't listen to me and she got Emily and Rachel to take her side too. The night of, the three of them went missing for two days. I tried my best to find them but it was hard when you were being so closely watched and monitored by other burly men who saw you as nothing but an object made for a man's pleasure.

I was trapped inside of what felt like a sweat room with about ten other girls. It was small enough to act like a closet and we spent majority of our time in there. No one ever slept. We weren't allowed to eat until late at night where we forced to share half a loaf of bread and the smell of expired hygiene wafted horribly through the air.

The conditions were so horrendous that sometimes I forgot that I was an agent sent here on purpose. I had nothing but the clothes on my back. Weapons? No. I had my ear pieces and contacts for Ian to see and hear me, but I lost audio with him due to some malfunctioning. So only he could hear me. I couldn't hear him. I was beaten and starved like the rest of the girls. My muscle tone quickly started deteriorating after the first week and my mind started clouding with hopeless thoughts and thinking suicide was a better option than having to continue living this way.

Men would pick us off one by one to use us for their pleasure. Every time the girl came back in tears, broken and in pain. The first time I cried. I remember hating my dad for approving of this mission for me to go on when he knew exactly what it was about. But then I had to remind myself I was also to blame. I accepted the mission.

One night, as the girls and I were hunched over in the small musty room trying our best to get some sleep, the door was ripped open and his eyes immediately landed on me. He ripped me up by my arm and tossed me out of the room. My legs were so weak that I instantly fell to the ground with a loud thump. My head hit against the concrete floor hard and I had started seeing stars.

He pulled me up again and forced me to walk into the large open clearing of the warehouse. When my eyes started to clear, I noticed three wooden chairs lined neatly in a row with three girls sitting in each of them. There hands were tied behind their backs and their ankles were tied to the legs of the chair. We walked around them where five other men were standing with their arms crossed and a smirk on their faces. When I looked at the chairs again I saw that the three girls were my fellow agents. Anna, Emily, and Rachel.

My throat still felt like sandpaper when I thought about the loud screech that came out of my mouth. The girls were dead with one bullet straight through the forehead. Their skin was bruised, lips were cut, fingers were broken, and their clothes half on half off. I blamed myself for not protecting them to the best of my abilities. I should have known Anna wouldn't listen to me and follow through with her plan by somehow contacting the agency to bust through. Although we had enough Intel to arrest them all, we were still missing a main component of this case and that was the man behind it all.
