I helped Eleanor clean up the table after breakfast while the boys gathered around the living room area to watch a game of football. They tried to get us to stop, saying they would clean up after the game, but we all knew that wasn't going to happen. Besides, I didn't mind doing the dishes. It was something normal.
"I can't believe you're Louis's sister," Eleanor shook her head and giddily smiled as she tucked the plates into the dishwasher.
"Yeah that seems to be everyone's main source of surprise. It's almost like my life as a secret agent is irrelevant." I grinned back and handed her the silverware.
"You know what I mean," She said. "Now that I know, it's like I can totally pick out the physical details you two share. It's obvious your related! I'm surprised I didn't pick up on it sooner."
"So you're not mad at him for lying to you?" I asked. I took a step back and tilted my head to study her reaction. Once I started to really like Eleanor, I grew nervous that mine and Louis's secret would disrupt their romantic relationship which would really suck because I like the two of them together a lot.
Eleanor paused to think about it. "Honestly, I didn't really have time to be mad. Everything happened so fast, you know? First, I was so wound up in the fact that my boyfriend could have had a near death experience with a bomb, and before I could even get over that, I find out you're living a double life as his sister with a kickass job."
"Yeah..." I bit my lip sheepishly.
"But after you explained everything to everybody, it was clear you did what you had to do with every good intention. And I understand now why Louis had to keep your real identity a secret, even to me. I'm just surprised he was able to pull it off. Usually I can immediately tell when he is lying to me."
"I know. I was surprised at how well he did at playing along. The guy should try out for movies or something." We laughed. "Thanks for being so cool about it."
"No problem," she glanced at her watch. "Hey aren't you supposed to be getting lunch with your mom?"
I nodded, "I moved it to dinner. There's something I have to do today." I looked over at the microwave clock. "Which I should probably get ready for now. Are you okay with the rest of the dishes?"
"Yeah of course," Eleanor waved me away. "Go get changed."
"Thanks!"
I walked back upstairs and scavenged through my suitcase that was left here after the whole Glasgow incident. I tossed a white tank top over my head and a black cardigan. Pulling my ripped skinny jeans up was harder because of the injury in my arm. It strained the bicep muscle, which was rather embarrassing because this was a everyday easy kind of task.
"What are you doing?" Harry asked in the doorway of his room with his arms crossed as he watched me struggle to pull up my own pants.
I huffed defeatedly and sat down on the bed and pouted. "I can't get my jeans on."
"Why are you putting jeans on?" Harry walked forward and held my hands to pull me back onto my feet. "Come on, I'll help you."
"There's something I have to do today," I said dully and hoped he wouldn't comment on it. Harry helped pull my jeans to my waist and even zipped and buttoned them for me. "Well that was weird. I'm so used to you pulling my pants down, not up."
"Cute," Harry forced a grin that quickly dropped into a worried frown. "Where are you going?"
I sighed when I didn't get my wish of not being questioned. "There's someone I need to see."
"Who?"
"You don't know him," I walked around him to look at myself in the mirror. Yes, makeup was definitely needed.
