"Kelly...Kelly....Kelly..."

Louis was standing in front of me and was searching my eyes for something responsive within me. I stood still and was staring at the police wheeling away the five dead bodies. Gregory, the two men that held Harry and Louis, and two other men that Harry had killed. Roseanne was starting to wake up from her daze and was being strapped with handcuffs.

I don't know how many times he had called my name or when Ryan and Monique showed up. I just kept replaying the moment I put a bullet in Gregory's head, hoping it would ignite some sort of excitement in me. But nothing.

"Kelly?" Louis asked again.

"What?" My voice was flat and dull. But when my eyes flickered up to meet Louis's stare, I snapped out of my trance. His eyes were big and glazed with worry. "Oh my god." I almost choked and mentally slapped myself for not thinking about Louis and Harry right away. They were literally held at gun point. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

"What? Me? No. Kelly. Are you?"

"No," I shook my head. I couldn't believe he was here with Harry, Ryan, and Monique. This was supposed to be just me and him. That way no else would get hurt. I shoved Louis in the chest. "What the hell is the matter with you?"

"Me?" Louis pointed to himself incredulously. "What's the matter with you? Are you crazy? Going off the map alone when you were going to meet with a complete psychopath? You could have gotten yourself killed!"

"You don't understand!" I shook my head and felt my chest tightening, warning me that I was close to tears. "No one will ever understand what this day meant to me. I had to do this. Not only for you, but for me too."

Louis eased up and his features softened. He pulled me closed to him and hugged me tight against his chest. "Please don't do that ever again. You scared the crap out of me."

I grinned against his shirt. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," he kissed the top of my head and pulled away. He scratched his head and frowned. "Look, Kelly. I know you don't want to talk about it..."

"Louis..." I said slowly. He was right. I didn't want to talk about it. I was slammed with heat from feeling slightly embarrassed about Harry and Louis knowing some of what Gregory and his people did to me and to my friends.

"So we don't have to," Louis continued. "But I just want you to know that I'm here and I will listen whenever you're ready to talk."

"Thanks Louis."

"Kelly!" Monique ran after me and crushed me in a tight embrace before I had time to turn around completely. "Thank god. You're okay."

"I'm fine," I lightly chuckled and pulled away.

"One of these days Tomlinson you're going to kill me by giving me a massive heart attack." She scowled. "And give me grey hairs before I turn 30."

"It's a goal of mine." I smirked and hugged her again. "Did you know Louis and Harry were coming?"

Monique nodded nervously. "They followed us to the jet. They must have convinced your star pupil to let them go."

I nodded. "Brianna is easily persuasive."

Monique looked behind me where Harry was talking to a police officer. "You know, Harry was just as worried about you as Louis was."

"What are you getting at?" I asked.

"What I'm trying to say is Harry wouldn't risk his life for you if he hated you or even blamed you. Don't give up on him cause you don't think you're good enough for him."
