YOUR STORY
So, I was thinking, we all have different ways we came to know Markiplier or ways in which he helped us, and I wanted to dedicate a chapter to that. Tell me: how you came to watch his videos, and/or how he helped you. Or something completely different! Whatever you want to tell me, I'm willing to listen.
But, if I'm asking you to do this, I figured I should too. If you wanna skip my stuff, go right ahead. (At the bottom, there's a message someone sent me that I thought was really cool that she let me share with you. Please read it!)
Now, to my story:
I knew YouTubers existed, but only knew the names of Pewdiepie, Markiplier, and Jacksepticeye for the most part. At that time, I only really watched Top 10 videos or just informational stuff like TED-Ed. But randomly (at least I think randomly) I wanted to give Mark a chance, so I watched his Five Nights At Freddy's 4 playthrough.
I wasn't impressed.
I didn't understand why so many people liked him. He wasn't very funny, his jokes were terrible, and he wasn't very good at the game. I might've just been in a bad mood, who knows, but I didn't come back to watch anything of his for at least a year.
Now, more presently...
I made a one-shots book and was given a request for Funtime Foxy from FNAF Sister Location. (To be honest, I didn't even know another FNAF game was made until I got the request.) As I hadn't seen it played or played it myself, I had to watch a YouTuber play it so I could complete the request. I chose Markiplier because why not (I think that was my reason).
So I watched the entire playthrough, laughing and such because he's a pretty humorous guy, and I found he wasn't as bad as I originally thought. From there, well, I watched him more and now here I am! *confetti*
Any questions? Please ask (about my story^ or this book you're reading or anything else really)!
REALISM THEORY
Ok, on to the message:
Hello!! Umm, I'm like a really big fan of "Realism Mode: Enabled", I mean, it's fantastic! You actually inspired me to write this kind of relationship (like, completely opposite to each other but then realize they aren't as opposite as they think) but anyway. Not the reason why I'm here.
An idea popped in my head, but didn't feel like something you post on comments. So, obviously everything in your book is chosen for a reason...so I'm wondering the why of the name of it, and the name of the game.
"Realism Mode: Enabled" not only is part of the game, but it could also mean that (Y/N) is learning how to live a laid-back life without instructions (kind of like the player when the Realism Mode is on).
Second. "It's Not The Fall, It's The Sudden Stop" now, that's a reaaally specific name. Not many would choose that name...but does it have a meaning in (Y/N)'s life?
Ok, why I think it does. So Realism Mode in the game, it makes it more "life-like" right? But there is literally no falling in the game (or at least not said) until the epilogue of the narrator. Clearly the name's a metaphor, but does the metaphor also speak of (Y/N)'s life? The name speaks of the procedure and the ending you get. I think is has a connection to (Y/N)'s slow change from up-tight to laid-back.
It just began the problems with the parents, or at least the heavy problems, and this procedure (the 'Fall') is finally coming to an end. The sudden stop, is going to be her snapping and telling her parents. At least I think so...
So, that...I wanted to know if I got at least like, close to the reason of the names? I don't know...
Thank you for taking your time to read this train wreck.

...I don't think any of you go as in-depth as she did when you read a story, but holy crap! I was so surprised when I got this, I was literally blown away! *ahem* I'm sure that's not what you care about, what you care about is my answer, and here it is:
I didn't intend for any of that.
It was just coincidence, but it makes so much sense! Realism Mode *Enabled* was just meant to be a cool title nobody had ever done before while also pertaining to the game in the story, INTF ITSS. INTF ITSS was a reference to the quote "It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end" by Douglas Adams. I think my reason for that name of the game was either because I couldn't think of anything else for the name or because I could have one of the endings being the character you play falling to their death.
Yeah, I'm not that in-depth. 😃 Anyway, thanks for reading! I'll get back to the story next chapter.
