Chapter 9: Diagon Alley

" Why can I not join the Quidditch team as well?" I ask my father. "Because there is one position open and it's already been promised to Draco." He tells me. "Don't worry sis you can cheer me on from the stands while I'm on my broom flying." Draco tells me smiling. "Yeah well how about I take that broom and shove it up-THATS ENOUGH!" Father tells me. We continue walking until we get to Flourish and Blotts. When I run into a red head girl knocking everything out of her hands. "I am so sorry." I say bending down to help her pick up her books when someone runs over to help I feel their hand brush against mine and look up too meet a pair of emerald green eyes. "Hello Delena." He says. "Good afternoon Harry how has your summer been?" I ask him smiling. "It's been normal." He tells me smiling. "Look at you still as beautiful as ever." He says and I smile blushing looking over at the red haired girl. "Hello I'm Delena." I tell her smiling and she smiles. "I'm Ginny." She says shaking my hand. "Delena what are you doing you insufferable child!" He sneers at me. "Ah Mr. Potter we meet at last. Forgive me but your scar is legendary such as the wizard who gave it to you." Father tells him when a red haired man comes over. "Hello Lucius I see you've met Harry." He says and looks down at me. "Mr. Weasley this is Delena, Delena this is Arthur Weasley he works in the Ministry." Harry introduces us. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Weasley." I say putting out my hand for him too shake but father slaps it away. "Ow jerk!" I whisper and Hermione steps forward. "You must be Ms. Granger Draco has told me much about you and your family." He sneers and Draco smirks. "Father that's rude where are your manners?" I ask him. He ignores me and bends down too pick up another book. "Here you go little girl." He says putting it in her cauldron. "Leave now!" Ginny says stepping forward and father turns to leave while I stay in my spot. "I apologise for my father's behavior. I'll see y'all tomorrow." I tell them. "It was nice meeting you Mr. Weasley and you Ginny I hope your first year at Hogwarts is amazing." I tell her. "DELENA GET OVER HERE NOW!" Father yells and I turn to walk away. "How is it you two are twins but your nothing like your brother Delena." Father asks. "Because I have respect for other people." I tell him and he stops me. "Don't you ever take that tone with me child." He tells me and I nod. "Now we must be going y'all have packing too do."
