Its been three weeks and in that three weeks is a taste of heaven for me. I feel like floating in the clouds of happiness and drunk from the toast of love. Howard has been consistent and we would always see each other whenever we can. We would go out and eat lunch and dinner together. He's also a sweet boyfriend and brings me flowers and chocolates whenever we meet. Even my classmates would get excited when our classes ended because it means that they can take a glimpse of my boyfriend and see him for themselves. They always went outside our school with me just so they can talk to him. I sometimes let them talk to Howard who gladly shake their hands and answer their queries with a smile. I felt proud that he is not a snob inspite of his high society status and my classmates would always tell me how lucky I am to have him as my boyfriend and I would always agree with them.
Sinabi ko din kay Howard na ilihim muna namin kila Ate Bree at Kuya Clyde ang aming relasyon na sandaling tinutulan ni Howard. Gusto nyang ipagtapat iyon pero tinutulan ko at sinabing hindi ako papayagan ni Kuya Clyde na makipagrelasyon kaya napilitan na lang din sumang-ayon si Howard.
We were eating dinner when I felt like something is bothering Howard and he is unusually quiet.
"May problema ka ba?" Nag aalalang ani ko kay Howard. He heaved a deep sigh and look straight into my eyes.
"I have to leave next week. They gave me another project in South Africa." He said and in that instant I felt sadness I never felt before. Ngayon pa lang ramdam kong miss ko na sya.
"Dont look at me like that love. Mas lalo akong mahihirapang umalis." Malungkot ding sabi ni Howard
"Gaano ka katagal mawawala?" Malungkot na aniko habang pinaling ko sandali ang paningin ko sa malayo. Ramdam ko na kasi ang pag iinit ng mata ko.
"Maybe two weeks, three? A month? Two months? I really cant tell love." Aniya habang inaabot ang kamay ko sa lamesa at mahigpit na hinawakan yon.
"Hey.. dont give me that look. I'll come back as soon as I finished my job. Dont cry love." Masuyong ani Howard, tumabi sya sa akin at mahigpit akong niyakap. Hindi ko na pala napigilan ang luhang naglandas sa mga pisngi ko. Marahang pinunasan nya ng hinalalaki nya ang pisngi ko at masuyong tumitig sa akin.
"Wait for me love. Mag-aral kang mabuti habang wala ako. Babalik din ako kaagad. I'll always videocall whenever I can. Wag ka ng malungkot. Let's make our time here together worthwhile." Masuyong ani Howard na bahagyang ikinangiti ko na. Niyakap ko ng mahigpit ang lalaki.
"Miss na kita kaagad kahit nandito ka pa." Malambing na aniko sa lalaki na ikinatawa nito.
"I'll miss you more love." Sagot ni Howard.
Ng gabing yun ay sumama ako kay Howard sa yate nya at doon kami nagpalipas ng gabi. At kahit na alam kong nagtitimpi si Howard at hanggang halik lang at yakap ang ginagawa namin ay kontento ako at alam kong masaya din si Howard. He told me that we have to wait until we are married to do things beyond kissing. He told me that he understood that I am young and that he respect me too much to touch me. At sobrang kinilig ako sa pagiging gentleman nya. Sinulit namin ang bawat sandali na magkasama kami.

Araw ng linggo ng ihatid ko sa airport si Howard. Halos ayaw ko ng bitawan ang kamay nya ng mga sandaling iyon at halos napakadami ko na ding iniluha.
Then I heard his flight being called for boarding that made me even cry harder.
"Take care of yourself love. Babalik din ako agad. I'll miss my baby so damn much!" Aniya sa tenga ko habang mahigpit nya akong yakap. Binitawan din nya ako at tumalikod dala ang bag nya. Nakapila na sya sa boarding pero naroon pa rin ako at umiiyak. Lumingon sya sa akin habang pinapahid ko ang luha ko. He slightly chuckled and a smirk form on his lips. Umalis sya sa pila at nag-jog pabalik sa akin.
In one swift move ay nakakarga na ako sa kanya at madiin na nya akong hinahalikan. Mapusok at puno ng init ang halik na iyon. Mapaghanap at maalab na halik na tumatangay sa lahat ng wisyo ko. At halos kainin na nya ang labi ko. We parted breathless and smiling at each other.
"Bye love. Wait for me." Aniya habang binababa ako sa sahig. Nakangisi sya at sumaludo bago muling nag-jog pabalik sa linya sa boarding.
Then I realized that in that one month that we are together...
