Stay alive, Stay alive! for me!?

Josh panted as he laid by my side, My fan blew cool air on us as we laid in bed panting. I pulled my covers over my chest and turned facing Josh. His face was covered in sweat he was looking up at the ceiling. 

"Ding!" His phone rang out. He sighed. 

"It can wait" He turned to me smiling. I smiled back and snuggled against him, His arm wrapped around my waist. His hand rubbed my hips as he kissed my forehead. I sighed of joy and closed my eyes listening to his heart beat.

"Ding, Ding, Ding!" His phone rang out again. 

"God Damn it!" Josh sat up and got his phone. I got up and out of the bed, I put my boxers on and laid back down. I looked over at Josh. His face was covered in fear, His fingers slamming onto the screen fast.

"Joshua?" I sat up I rested my palms on the bed. He didn't look away from the phone.

"Joshua!" He snapped out of the daze he was in.

"Sorry.." He got up and walked to his pile of clothes and put his boxers on. Lilly barked loudly as someone knocked on the door downstairs. 

"I'll get that." I got up. 

"No!" Josh ran to me grabbing my shoulders. 

"Joshua what is the deal?!." I jerked away gently and walked to my door I opened the door and walked out. Josh ran after me. 

"Ty no don't open that door." His voice shaked as Lilly snarled. The door opened and shut. I froze, Josh picked me up throwing me over his shoulders. 

"Joshua!" 

"Shh" He whispered. He walked to my mom and dad's room and opened the door, he walked in and opened the closet door. Lilly panted as she ran into the room. Josh put me in the closet.

"Lilly stay" He pointed to the closet. Lilly ran into the closet.

"Joshua what is happening?!" He covered my mouth.

"Ty be silent please." He reached into his pocket and gave me his phone. My password is one, nine, eight, eight, five. He kissed my cheek and shut the closet. I heard him walk out of the room. 

"Joshy!" A guy's voice echoed loudly. I heard Josh walk down the stairs. I covered my mouth. Anxiety filled my body. Lilly nudged at my leg.

"Go away Jacob" Josh yelled. 

"Oh no, joshua!" I heard a gun click. My heart sank, tears filled my eyes.

"Where is he, Josh!" 

"Nowhere you ass hole! Go away!". 

"Fuck Josh!. I love you!" Jacob's voice cracked. 

"I don't love you!" Josh yelled. His voice was so angry. 

"Im going to kill him!" Jacob sobbed.

"Put the gun down Jacob". 

I pressed my hand harder on my mouth as I sobbed. It went silent

"Bang!" The gun went off, I jumped and screamed. I got up and ran out of the closet, I opened the door and ran down the hallway. I heard someone run, the front door opened and slammed shut. I ran to the top of the steps and looked down. My heart stopped. 

"Oh my god." Josh laid in the living room floor in a puddle of blood. He groaned grabbing his stomach, Blood poured out of his stomach. I ran down the steps, I tripped over my foot causing me to fall down the steps. I screamed out in pain as I slammed my rib cage against the bottom stair. 

"Joshua no, no, no, no!" I crawled to him ignoring the pain in my side. He coughed up blood and groaned. 

"Baby" Tears streamed down my face as I caressed his cheek I looked down at his stomach. I grabbed his hand and looked up at him. His blood covered my hand and arm. He looked terrified. 

"Stay here don't move." I got up and ran to my kitchen, I grabbed a dish towel and the house phone. I ran back to him almost falling again. I kneeled down beside him, His blood covered my knees and legs. I pressed the dish towel onto his gunshot wound. 

"Put p-pressure on it" I sobbed and dialed 911 on the phone. 

"911 what is your emergency?" A woman's voice sounded calm.

"M-My boyfriend is shot! oh god no" Joshua looked at me and smiled, blood trickled down his chin.

"I love you" He smiled, then he coughed causing blood to splat on my stomach. I sobbed harder.

"Where sir?"

"In my house. My address is 91755 Oak Dr." I sobbed and kissed Joshua's cheek.

"Help is on the way sir please don't hang up." I held Josh's hand as the rest of the world faded away. Lilly walked over to us whining and whimpering. Her paws were red from Josh's blood. 

"Tyler" Josh whispered. 

"Yes?" I caressed his cheek again wiping the blood away from his lips.

"I'm sorry, I love you" His eyes started to close. 

"No, no, no, no! Joshua! No!" I sobbed harder as I laid my head on his forehead.

"Stay alive, Stay alive! for me!?" He grabbed my hand and held it tight.

"I love you" Josh eyes closed. 

"Josh no!" I screamed as the paramedics rushed through the door. I went numb I couldn't hear anything but me screaming Josh. God don't let him be gone.
