Josh walked with my mom up the stairs to his room. I started to feel shaky as I saw where Josh laid dying, covered in blood with fear in his eyes. Depression and anxiety washed over me. 

*Flash Back*

"Who is Jacob?" I sobbed as I put pressure on Joshua's stomach. His eyes slowly closed and opened.

"He is an ex... I have no idea how he got here.." He coughed splattering blood on my arm. Anxiety made me shake so hard I could barely sit on my knees. Josh raised his hand to my cheek, his hand was warm and sticky due to the blood.

"I love you" His voice was so weak, He closed his eyes as his hand fell. I screamed "Joshua".

*Flash back ends*

I fell to my knees, covering my ears screaming "Joshua". The image of him bleeding, dying and scared to death wouldn't leave my mind. 

"Baby, Baby!, It's okay im here shh." Joshua's voiced cooed in my ear as his arms wrapped around me he stroked the back of my head. I turned and wrapped my arms around him. His warmth surrounded me, He is alive Tyler he is holding you. He is okay.

"I would carry you to your room so you can get some rest, but doc said no lifting up heavy things." He kissed my cheek. I felt my mothers hand rub my back. 

"Put him in your room he needs you. I trust you two" My mom's voice was soft and filled with sadness. I hate making her sad, I hate making her voice filled with sadness. Josh stood up, once he was up he held out his hand. I held his hand and stood up. 

"Come on baby" He held my hand as we walked up the stairs. The pain started to fill my side where my broken ribs are.

"Ow" I whimpered.

"Your side?" Josh looked at me with concern. I nodded. 

"Let's get you in my bed and ill get your pain meds and a drink of your choice." We walked into his room. This was going to be a guest bedroom but now it's his. I sighed and whimpered softly holding back tears. 

"Baby, I'm here, I'm okay" He held me close with his arms around me. He pulled back, pecked my lips and walked to the bed, He pulled the puffy comforter up and folded it over so I could lay in bed. I walked to the side of the bed. and laid down carefully. Josh pulled the comforter back over me.  

"What drink?." He smiled and sat beside me, he stroked my hair. I closed my eyes and smiled. 

"Code Red Mtn Dew?" He nodded. "Can you bring me my uh.." I felt embarrassed. I want my stuffed bear. I named it Coconut, he brings me happiness when im sad, him and Josh combined will make me feel safer than ever.

"What baby?" 

"Can you get my brown stuffed animal bear? and my fan?" I smiled softly. 

"Of course my sweet." He kissed my lips softly then got up, I watched him leave the room, he looked back at me before closing the door.  I sighed softly, The smell of his cologne slowly faded away. I heard small pitter patters of Lilly's nails on the hard wood floor. 

"Hello, How did you get in here?" I smiled, Her tongue flopped out as she jumped on the bed, She walked to my left side and laid down. I petted her head and back. She sighed and closed her eyes. The door creaked open,  Josh walked in. He was holding my Rick And Morty cup with the straw, in his other hand was my bottle of pain pills and another pill bottle. 

"I'll get your bear and fan in a second." I sat up and took the cup. Josh opened my pills, I took a sip of my drink and hummed softly. I looked at Lilly and petted her as I took more sips.

"Here" He held out his hand, in his palm was a small circle pill and a slightly larger pill. "One pill is a Xanax and the other is the pain pill."

"Thank you baby" I smiled as I took the pills out of his hands. I filled my mouth with the drink, tilted my head, opened my mouth and popped the pills into my mouth. I swallowed the drink and pills. 

"I'll be back." Josh walked out of the room. I laid back down and yawned. Lilly snored softly. Josh came back in with the fan and my bear in one hand, in his other hand was my phone. 

"Here ya go" He tossed Coconut next to Lilly, I reached and grabbed Coconut and snuggled him close. I heard the fan turn on as Josh put it on the night stand. 

"Can you feel it?" Josh walked to the door and shut it. I nodded as he took his shirt off. 

"I'm sleepy." I closed my eyes and yawned. Josh took my cup and took some sips, and placed it on the night stand. The bed dipped as he laid down causing Lilly to move. He laid beside me and Lilly laid beside him.

"Sleep" He wrapped his arm around my waist and held me close, His warmth made me feel so comfortable, the cool air of the fan and Josh body heat and holding Coconut made me even more sleepy. The sun was setting so the room was dim. I closed my eyes.

"I love you Tyler" Josh warm lips pressed against my forehead. 

"I love you too Joshua" I snuggled closer to him and fell asleep as he hummed "Something in the way" by Nirvana.
