"so, is this what you were expecting?" yoongi asked, chuckling at jungkook's shocked expression.

"it's better than what I was expecting," jungkook said. yoongi smiled widely.

"let's go through the drive thru and come back to park, we can talk and stuff. isn't that how a date works?" yoongi said.

jungkook laughed.

"sounds perfect" jungkook said. yoongi started his car back up and went to the drive thru menu.

"what do you want?" yoongi asked.

"a 20 piece chicken nugget with honey mustard sauce. oh and small fries" jungkook said.

yoongi ordered their food, driving back to their previous parking spot.

"so, what are your views on dogs?" yoongi asked.

"better than cats. I used to own a German shepherd back in Busan, they're the cutest things. what about you?" jungkook asked.

"way better than cats. I've wanted a Pitbull since I was 19" yoongi said.

"why don't you get one?"

"good question"

about an hour later, they started driving back home.

as they were driving, yoongi slowly grabbed jungkook's hand, which was resting on the middle console. jungkook intertwined their fingers, smiling wide.

"i forgot to ask you something" yoongi said, as they parked.

jungkook hummed in question.

"do you wanna, I dunno, be my boyfriend and stuff?" yoongi asked shyly, playing with his sleeves and looking away.

jungkook grabbed yoongi's chin, pressing their lips together. it was a beat too long to be chaste.

"I'll take that as a yes?" yoongi asked.

jungkook only nodded and brought their lips together once more.
