A Kirstie & Avi Story

Hey, I am Anna and this is my first fanfiction. I just love Pentatonix and think that Kirstie and Avi would be great together, so I hope you enjoy my story. Oh btw. English is not my first language so please forgive me if I make mistakes. I don't know if I'll be able to upload new chapters regularly but I'll try :)

Kirstie Maldonado & Avi Kaplan

It was 8 am. I hate the sound of my alarm clock. As usual I woke up all on my own. Why couldn't I just be as happy in love like every other human being?

Kirstie, don't get emotional again! I thought to myself. We already had this yesterday. He will come. I just have to wait and stay positive.

Sometimes it's really hard to stay positive. But I am a tough girl! So I got out of my bed and took a shower. And again, there I was, standing in front of the mirror in my underwear. I looked at myself, thinking of what could possibly be wrong with me... Am I fat? Am I too short? I'm only 5"4'. Am I not pretty enough? Millions of thoughts. I got a little dizzy. For god sake! KIRSTIE! Calm down! You'll be fine. Just wait unti-.... My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of my phone. I checked the number. It was Scott.

"Hey DipDot! What's up?", I said, smiling.

"Hey Kirstie. I just wanted to know how our little queen is feeling today.", Scott said.

I was really down yesterday and I needed to talk to someone so I called him. He came over and we talked, I cried and he listened. We grew up together. He and Mitch know me better than every other person and when I need them they are always there for me...

"Scott, we are meeting in about an hour. You could have just asked me then..."

"I thought you might not want the others to hear all this.", he said.

"I am.... fine. Thanks for asking."

"Don't let anybody pull you down! You know, we all love you!",he said. I knew that sound in his voice too well. I've heard it a lot lately. He was trying to cheer me up.

"Thank you. I love y'all, too! I need to get ready. See you later.", I said.

"Ya, me to. See you."

"Oh wait. Kirstie?", he said. I was just about to hang up.

"Yeah?"

For a few seconds he didn't say anything.

"Don't let me stop you!", he finally said, laughing.

"I hate you.", I was laughing with him.

I hung up and threw on some clothes. I randomly started smiling. Scott really knows how to cheer me up.

We were about to film the music video for "Can't Hold Us". I always love shooting music videos. It is so much fun.

I walked out the front door and saw Avi and Kevin. They were already waiting for me . As Avi saw me he got out of his car and gave me a hug. He opened the backseat door.

"My Lady", he said, holding open my door.

"Thank you!", I said in a very fancy voice and got into the car.

He bowed slightly and shut the door.

"Hey Kirs.", Kevin said with the biggest smile ever on his face.

"Hey Kevin!", I smiled back.

"Is Avi being fancy again?", he said laughing.

"Hey, I call this being a gentleman! You should try it.", Avi said laughing.

I laughed with them. I love these guys. All of them. Mitch, Scott, Avi and Kevin. I probably have the best friends in the world. Plus, I am able to live my dream and sharing this with them is amazing...

Avi and Kevin were talking about something, but I wasn't paying attention to what they were saying. I was looking out the window. All I saw was couples and they looked so happy.

I hate happy couples! All of them! I-

"Kirstie? Are you okay? You look a little... pissed.", Avi said a little worried.

"Huh? What?... Yeah, everything's great!", I stammered.

"You sure?", Kevin asked.

"Yes.", I tried to smile. It didn't really work.

They were still looking at me, but they knew that I didn't want to talk about it so they were going on with their conversation.

It still was early in the morning and I was tired so I decided to just close my eyes for a second.

"Kirstie!", Mitch sang quietly into my ears.

I ignored him.

"Wake up sleeping beauty.", he tried again.

"No. I want to sleep.", I said.

"Haven't slept good last night, huh?", Avi asked.

He was right. I have not slept good last night.

I opened my eyes, even though I didn't want to. Four pairs of eyes were looking at me. I just had to laugh. I love being the only girl. It's really nice. They are like my brothers and we all love each other. We are like a big family.

"Fiiine", I said and yawned.

"Let's get you some coffee", Scott said and pulled me out of the car.

The shooting of the video went great. We had a lot of fun. It was pretty warm this day and we had to change the outfits like 5 times. We were all hot and sweaty.

Mitch, Scott and Kevin were totally exhausted and tired. Since Avi and I are the sleepiest people ever, we drank so much coffee to stay energized. Now we both didn't want do go home.

"Mommy's gonna need a bath and a bed!", Mitch said.

I was laughing really loud. Wow, the coffee really got me to wake up!, I thought.

"Look who finally is awake!", Avi said teasingly, "Our little sleeping beauty!" He smiled.

"Yeah, I don't want to go home.", I said.

"Me neither. Maybe we should go out or something...", he said to everyone. He was just as hyper and energized as me.

"That's a really good idea!", I really wanted to.

"Do whatever you'd like to do but we're going home.", Kevin said. Mitch and Scott nodded and walked away. I turned to Avi.

"That's okay! We'll have some fun without them!", I said, a little louder than normal, so the others would hear it. Avi laughed and said: "Oh we will!"
