"Alan, you have a note," Shayley says, entering the room. I turn towards him.

"I do?" I ask. He nods.

"Yeah."

"Alright," I reply cautiously, taking the note as he hands it to me.

Dear Alan,

I know I've put you through so much...

I stop reading there.

"I don't want to read it," I tell Shayley.

"Do you think that he's worth it, Al?" he asks. I look down at the floor and sigh.

"I don't know, Shay," I whisper. "I really don't know."

"Maybe you should let him go," he suggests. "And let live again."

"I guess," I reply. "He let me live his lie, but all he's done is gone back, turned on me."

"Do you think he's worth it?" Shayley asks again.

"I... I don't think he is," I share. Shayley sits on the bed, next to me.

"Do you want some time alone?" he questions. I shake my head.

"Don't go, please," I whimper. "I can't do this on my own."

"I promise, I'll stay as long as you need," he says comfortingly, pecking my forehead.

Shayley pulls me into a hug, tears silently escaping through my eyes.

"I love you, Alan," Shayley whispers. I look up at him.

"Y-You do?" I stammer.

"Yes, Princress," he replies. Oh no... That word. Princess.

"I have an i-idea," I mewl, moments later. Shayley furrows his eyebrows.

"Yeah?" he asks.

"I... I think its t-time to break it o-off with h-him," I stammer.

"Do you want me to call him?" he questions. I nod.

*Austin's POV*

Alan left me.

And its all my fault.

I'm so stupid! I knew I loved him, but I kept coming back to Gielle.

Is this what its liked to be awaken with mistakes?

I guess after all, my love is unsafe.
