Couple of days flew by and Annabelle almost forgot about the situation. She thought about it a lot on the day of sending the application, but decided to ignore the shame she felt and just live life. Do exactly what she planned to do; have fun.

As she came back from a run, she quickly took the shower and sat down on her bed with the laptop in her hands. Usually, she gets dressed and dries her hair first, but now, she just didn't have the energy to. Cold drops of water were running down her neck collapsing on her white satin robe as she opened up the emails. The hope to have an answer from Blair didn't even appeared in her mind as she was sure this crazy application will be rejected straight away. Because who would employ a 17 years old girl?

As this question appeared in her mind, she saw an email, she has never seen before. A little nervous but also surprised, she clicked on the icon and the message materialised. She sat there, looking at the screen questioning her sight. She rubbed her eyes, still thinking it's just her imagination that plays with her mind, but scenario stayed the same. An email from Blair telling her she passed the first stage of the recruitment and asking for a one to one interview still appeared on the screen. She could still not believe what she saw...

After what have seen to be ages, the full message processed in her mind. She may be able to work with Roadtrip. She may be able to get experience. She may be able to have the best summer holiday ever.

She screamed with happiness, quickly jumping off her bed and running downstairs. Her tiredness from the run had been all covered up by the beauty of the situation- she is having an interview with Blair Dreelan; manager of Roadtrip, in just 3 days.

As she came downstairs, her legs were moving so fast, she started dancing in the middle of her kitchen while laughing loudly. She looked crazy but she didn't care anymore. The door opened and silhouette of her mum came into the view. Annabelle run over to her quickly, helping her with the groceries and trying to explain the situation. But because she was so enthusiastic, she mumbled so much that there was no way anyone would get what she wanted to say. Therefore, she decided to slow down a little and explain the whole situation.

Her mum Samantha looked at her with wide eyes, not being completely sure what her only child tries to say. How come a well-known manager of very popular boybands and singers wanted to recruit Annabelle? She wasn't too happy with this situation, it seemed so crazy almost as if it wouldn't be true. Considering how many dangerous things are happening in the world right now, her first thought was to not allow her daughter to go, but as she looked at Annabelle's happiness and excitement, she knew, she wouldn't be able to do it.

"Okay sweetie, calm down. Let's see the post, make sure everything is legal and then we'll see what to do" she replied calmly, heading upstairs to see the email her daughter got.

Annabelle smiled gratefully and followed her mum upstairs. They spent the next hour looking through emails, reading posts and talking about the situation. Finally, her mum decided to give her a free hand about the interview and promised she'll drive her to London if needed. Annabelle couldn't be happier in that moment. She was aware that interview doesn't mean she automatically will be on trial but for her boring life, it was a huge step.
••••••••
The next 2 days have passed so much quicker than anyone expected and in less than 24 hours, Annabelle was meant to be in London, waiting for an interview. The stress started to kick in, she wasn't sure what questions would be asked but she decided to stop worrying about it.

As she sat down in the car, she looked at her reflection carefully. Her black jeans and nude sneakers fitted perfectly with a nude, oversized jumper she was wearing. It wasn't really an elegant outfit, it looked so casual, but she didn't care. She knew Blair is not the strict about those kind of stuff as he's not wearing elegant clothes himself and she just wanted to feel confident.

An hour passed on listening to music and getting last couple of tips from her mum. She loved the relationship they both had; she wasn't able to remember last time they had an argument. They arrived on place half an hour before they needed, so they decided to get some tea before an interview. They both, especially Annabelle, were tea lovers so it wasn't a surprise they chose this type of drink.

Finally, Annabelle headed off to the studio placed in the middle of London. She registered by the big table with a lovely, old women behind it and waited patiently for her turn. As she sat down, she started watching people around her, feeling more and more nervous. All of them were middle-aged professional with elegant dresses or suits and black leather bags in their hands. She felt eyes looking at her, almost as if they were judging her presence in this place. Minutes passed by, but it felt like hours for her - she couldn't cope with the feeling of being so unsuitable.

As she was about to leave the place, laughing at her own stupidity, doors slowly opened, showing figure of the person she was meant to meet. Blair looked around the room, his face still, while he observed every single candidate. His whole appearance made him look serious, almost dangerous but deep down, Annabelle knew he's a nice guy. She waited for his little judge to finish so she can leave calmly, but as soon as his eyes landed on her, he released a little smile that disappeared quicker than it came, making her wonder whether it even existed.

But it gave her a hope that maybe she is exactly where she's supposed to be.
