As the sun raised its rays on a cloudless sky, Mikey has been lying on his bed talking to his girlfriend on Facetime. It's been nearly a week since both girls were gone and neither of boys took it well. The only good thing about it all was that they could speak with them anytime without a fear of getting caught as Blair knew about it all already.

"How's Belle and Rye doing?" Rose asked, knowing Mikey is in the room on his own. She was really concerned about leaving her best friend with unsolved conflicts, but Mikey assured her he'll take care of it all.

"No change; they ignore each other now. But I feel Rye is breaking a little, I think he feels guilty for all those things he said to her the other day" he said, getting a nod from his girlfriend.

"I think you should talk to him. I don't know if you remember, but Brooke was meant to do it. And you know it's not a good idea now" she said, reminding him of their first plan.

"I mean, we're both alone now" Mikey randomly said, knowing that Jack and Andy were in the gym, Blair was in London, Brooke was still in his family house, whereas Belle came back home for the night. She has been doing that a lot lately, probably not feeling comfortable with staying alone without her 2 girl best friends. He wasn't surprised, their flat was so small that there was no way her and Rye wouldn't see eachother.

"See, go and speak with him now. You have a great opportunity. I love you, we'll talk soon" Rose said quickly, ending the call. This gave Mikey enough courage to move and find his best friend. He stepped outside the room, walking to the kitchen to find Ryan, who was currently making himself tea.

"Have you ate anything apart from tea today?" He asked, quite concerned. Rye just turned around and looked at him, somehow already knowing that this meant a big talk. They were both best friends for so long, they knew each other well.

"You don't eat tea, you drink tea" he said, sneaking out of answering the question. "But I believe that's not what you want to talk about"

"Belle" Mikey said, getting a sign from his friend. Even if the subject was obvious, he had some little hope that maybe it was something different. "You have to do something. Move in one way or the other. You both are stuck in some weird hole and that confuses everyone"

"I think I already moved one way when I told her I didn't want to be with her?" Rye replied with a question, a little bit too harsh than he should. He decided to calm down after a second, it wasn't Mikey's fault that he said that.

"Yeah, but day after that you asked her how she's feeling" Mikey said, soon being cut by shocked Rye, "How do you..." "Andy wasn't asleep yet" Mikey cut his friend this time. "Maybe he was drunk, but he could still understand some words" he added, not getting any reply from Ryan.

"Rye..." the black haired boy started again, "There's nothing wrong with being scared to tell people how you feel*, but sometimes you need to put your pride aside and work things out" he said slowly, hoping the boy will be mature enough not to deny everything. Because they both knew that it was the truth. Ryan was scared of his feelings and hurt from what has happened - he had too much pride to forgive Annabelle.

"Why should I tell her how I feel when she's the one kissing other boys? I think it's enough of a hint that she doesn't like me" Ryan said, accepting the fact his best friend knows about his love.

"Have you even heard the whole story? What happened, what didn't happen?" Mikey asked, wondering whether Ryan knows why and how it happened. He seemed to be fixated in the fact Belle kissed Brooke when in reality, she barely did anything.

"Oh yes, because listening to what she did with other boys will definitely be helpful." Rye hissed.

"Trust me it would" Mikey said mysteriously, getting a curious look from Rye. "I'm not saying anything, it's not my story to tell" he said. He slowly turned around, deciding that he won't pressure his friend even more. He hoped this conversation was enough for him to rethink some stuff.
