Chapter 73

"Guys we need to talk" Belle said, walking in to the flat and sitting with Andy, Mikey, Brooke and Jack. According to the last boy, who called Rye on his way back the boy will be back in like half an hour, meaning she needs to be gone before then. "As you know it's Rye's birthday soon and before.." she stopped for a while. "Before it all happened, I planned a surprise for him"

"Sounds interesting, go on" Andy said, acting as if he didn't know about anything, wanting to hear her point.

"You know Rye loves adventures" she said, getting nods from everyone. "The first part of the birthday surprise is an active one - There's a long walkthrough to a park on the side of London. It has loads of free running things; followed by different swings, trampolines and playgrounds for like football or netball if the birthday boy wouldn't be okay with parkour or something." She smiled a little, knowing it's hard to guess what Rye would want to do.

"I also invited people" she added randomly. "Rye's best friends Ben and Alex should come, as well as Robin - his old free-running buddy for anyone who doesn't know him" she said, looking at Brooklyn.

"That's sounds sick" Mikey said, truly amazed. Rye would love it. "It's not the end" he heard the girl, who suddenly became a little shy. Everything would be nice if the situation between her and Rye would be normal. Planning a birthday for someone who doesn't care about her was quite uncomfortable. She was even thinking of cancelling it all, but at the end she still remembered how wonderful her birthday was - mainly because of Rye. Therefore she went on with her plan. "Then, you will have about 2-3 hours at home for the presents, little birthday cake and getting ready." She said. "After, you will all go to a restaurant where Ryan will meet rest of his family..." *

"NO WAY" all the boys shouted at once. Did Belle actually manage to get his family to come down to London?

"Yeah" the girl said awkwardly. "We all know Rye is a family boy and he doesn't get to see them often so I invited his grandparents, parents and brothers, Blair with Sophie, Harvey with Lauren, Ben, Alex, Robin and you guys, obviously." She smiled a little. "This would be time for a real birthday cake, presents and talks I guess"

"Belle, that's amazing! He would love you for it all" Brooke commented, not mentioning that Rye loves her already; no matter of the birthday party.

"After that you all can go to the cinema, but that's a side plan. Everything will depend on Rye" she said quietly, ignoring Brooke.

"Wait, what do you mean 'you'? Do you need to leave straight after dinner?" Mikey asked, deep down knowing that there's going to be some kind of problem - it seemed too good to be real.

"No" she said, listen to quiet signs with relief, "I'm not taking part in anything." She finished, getting a laud 'what' from everyone. "Furthermore, everything will only take place if you promise me that he won't know I planned it all." Belle added strongly.

"ARE YOU HAVING A BUBBLE?" Mikey shouted in a really high voice. "You took months to plan it and we are meant say you didn't take part in it at all?"

"Yes" Belle answered. "I'm sorry Mikey, but you know the situation. Me and him together means arguments - I want to prevent it, at least on his birthday. Plus, if he would know it was my idea, he wouldn't even want to do it" she added and Brooke seeing that Andy was about to argue, changed the subject.

"But what about his family, friends? They still think you're both friends" Brooklyn mentioned rightly.

"This depends on Rye - if he'll tell them, that's fine. But if not, the reason why I'm not there is because I need to help my mum with moving out" she said. "Also, for now, his family and friends know I planned it all so if Rye choses to tell them the truth, please tell them not to tell him it was my plan" she begged.
