"Guys, it's time for you to call me a legend" Brooklyn whispered to his band friends as they all, except Ryan were in the car, driving to the restaurant. The birthday boy was in a different car, right behind them, with his childhood best friends.
"And why is that?" Jack asked as Brooke explained them his conversation with Belle. The girl said she'll give Rye his present, which meant she had to come and see him before leaving. This would be a perfect opportunity for them to talk, it would save boys worries with 'accidentally' getting the girl here.
"Are you sure about that?" Fovvs asked, but all of them knew they can never be sure about anything when it comes to Belle and Rye - they were both extreme and unexpected. "We're stepping on a really thin line here." Andy added, not sure about it all. If their plan will work, it'll be due a pure luck.

At the same time Rye was in a different car, surrounded by silence, broken only by the music coming from radio. He let his thoughts overtake him for a while, thinking about today. He had an amazing time, it was one of his best birthdays. The idea of combining active sports with his best friends was amazing - he was shocked how well his band mates knew him. However, seconds later he thought about the brown haired girl, who he haven't seen since their argument. He still couldn't believe the fact she won't be a part of their group anymore, but there was nothing he could do. It was choice for the better goods."Stop thinking about her" he heard Ben whispering, waking him up. He haven't realised they were already outside the restaurant, other boys walking to Mikey and Andy who got to the place first.
"Sorry, I need time to get used to being without her" Ryan replied, not even trying to lie. Ben was his best friend who knew him the most out of everyone; he deserved the truth.
"You can always try to make it right, can't you?" His friend suggested, but Ryan ignored it, not knowing what to say. Technically he could, practically he couldn't.
Having nothing else to say, he walked to the group, ready to visit the restaurant. "Are we not waiting for Annabelle?" Robin asked confused, surprised the girl didn't come with them. Ryan just shook his head - Ben was the only one who knew about the situation, but it was time for his friends to know it too; so he told them the truth with possible least details.
"What do you mean you don't talk?" Robin asked, shocked at Rye's weird reply, "she was the one.." "WE ARE HERE GUYS" Andy cut him suddenly, shouting as he walked to his friends to stand near the restaurant. It was very random but he didn't want to let Robin finish his sentence as it would most likely reveal the maker of this surprise.
"We can see Andy, we're not blind" Rye answered cheekily, "and stuff happened, we're not as close anymore. Don't worry about it" he added, not wanting to go into details, especially today. Robin haven't answered, but he looked at Andy curiously; somehow knowing why the boy decided to shout so loudly in that particular moment. He promised himself, he'll speak with them all about it later.
"Guys, it's time. We booked places, we can't be late" Mikey said, and all of them walked into the restaurant. They patiently followed a young worker who was meant to walk them to their table. Ryan remained silent, trying to guess why his friends were smiling so much. Is it because of food? Were they as hungry as he was?
However, after a second he realised what was happening. He looked at the huge table full of members of his family, not able to hide his smile. Shaun and Sammie jumped on him straight away, hugging him tightly. The whole family sang him happy birthday, being so loud that everyone around could hear them - which resolved in additional voices joining the singing. "What?" Ryan looked back at his friends, shocked but happy. He couldn't believe they all have done so much for him. It was the best day of his life.
