On the early morning of October the 1st, Brooklyn has been laying in his bed, slowly waking up. He could hear voices coming from the room, but he was too dozed off to realise what was happening. He opened his eyes slowly, seeing a silhouette of Jack that just disappeared through the door. Shrugging his arms he sat up, taking his phone from the corner of his bed. However, he couldn't spend too much time on social medias as a loud singing caught his attention.
"Happy birthday to you! happy birthday to you! happy birthday to our fav square head! happy birthday to brook!" everyone sang coming to the room with a little birthday muffin. They had a better and bigger cake planned for later on so this had to work for now. Brooklyn just smiled widely, thanking everyone for the nice words. He stood up and blew the candles, thinking of a good wish. He pretty much had everything he dreamed of: interesting job, amazing friends and family. He felt really blessed in that moment.
"You're actually 2 years older than me Brook" Annabelle pointed out, jumping on the boy to give him a massive hug. Their birthdays were in the same month but Belle's was on 14th of October. That meant that she still remained 17 whereas her brother just turned 19.
"Not for long Belle" he smiled, hugging the girl tightly. He admired her, and even though it wasn't a passionate and intimidating type of love, he was happy they had an opportunity to meet. "Do we have anything planned for today?" He asked, trying not to daydream too much.
"In terms of work - no" Belle answered, almost as if she was reading his mind, "but as it's your birthday today, you can choose how we spend the day" she lied, knowing Brook has no influence on what will happen today.
"Trampoline?" He asked, getting shot by Annabelle's eyes. "I joke, I joke" he laughed, not really being in a mood for jumping anyway.
"What about Westfield? I need to go shopping" Mikey suggested, praying Brooklyn will agree for that. He had no choice, as everything was planned already.
"Oh, that's sick!" Rye added, convicting that shopping plan is a good idea. Brooklyn just looked at the boys, agreeing for it straight away. He recently felt the need to buy some new clothes and this would be an amazing opportunity.
"Well, then we're sorted. Give me 1 hour and we can go" Belle said, leaving the room to get ready.
————
"Rye, I'm not sure if that's a good idea" Belle said, hearing her friend's suggestion. About 10 minutes ago, they both got ready, waiting for others to do the same. Rye went to the kitchen to record insta stories for the roadies, but Belle unintentionally interrupted him. They looked at each other as the boy smirked commenting that she can't get enough of him. Whilst it was their normal teasing behaviour at home, Belle wasn't sure whether showing it to roadies would be a good idea.
"You're our full time manager now so you can take pictures with us" Rye argued, not understanding the issue. The videos was cute and he's definitely going to save it in his highlights as well. Belle had no other choice but to agree with him. Maybe she was overanalysing everything again.
"We're ready!" Brooklyn shouted and everyone followed him, ready for some shopping.

After 3 hours of what seemed to be a normal day out, everyone got hungry. Belle, even though begged by Brooklyn to go with him to Pizza Hut, argued she wants to go Nando's as it's healthier. Because it didn't happen for the first time in Roadtrips Family, they decided to split so Belle and Andy would go Nando's and other boys will stay in Pizza Hut.
"Blair, we're coming so get prepared" Andy said to the phone as he left the boys, making sure they cannot hear him. "I can't believe I'm sacrificing my food for him, I'm such a good friend" he said, getting a laugh from the girl. They didn't really go to the food restaurant as Brooklyn thought. They both headed to nearest restaurant where decorations and food were prepared for the birthday boy's surprise party. Everyone from AlphaDogFamily as well as Brook's closest friends were invited.
30 minutes later they all started hiding in different places, hearing the birthday boy arriving. "Where are we Rye? I thought we're going Nan..." "SURRRRPRISEEEEE" A loud group scream cut Brook's speech as everyone jumped out. After the first initial shock, the boy smiled widely, not believing his friends prepared it for him. "You guys are amazing" he said, to then disappear, hugged by everyone - it was one of the best days already.

The party turned out to be even better than expected. Brook, known for his love for food, decided to do a challenge that the restaurant they rented for the day had in their activities. The boy had to eat 15 slices of pizza under an hour. If he succeeded, he would win £600.Belle, along with many others didn't have a lot of faith, knowing that 2 big pizzas for one small Brook may be too much. But the fake blond boy decided to prove everyone wrong.
And what a shock it was when he managed to eat one pizza in under 20 minutes. "£700" "£710" "£800" the price was going up and now even the local people came up to see what was happening. The crowd was cheering intensively, but that didn't help Brook's stomach which felt like it was going to explode. He had 3 slices of pizza left and he doubted he'll be able to finish it. But he tried anyways, slowly swallowing the fast food, little bit by bit.
Belle at the same time, turned off from the real world, looking at her phone screen. Notifications that she was getting reminded her of the video that Rye posted this morning. She looked through the tagged photos and twitter comments. Most of them were kind; complimenting her or them as a pair, but some threats also appeared. "He's mine." "How can she even become a manager, she's younger than them" "she's too ugly for Rye too be looking at her like that" The girl wasn't really someone who gets bothered by hate, but some of the words saddened her. She didn't want to be in a centre of attention, she didn't need fame; she just wanted people to treat others with kindness.
"What's up Parker?" She didn't even hear Rye coming up, her eyes glued to the screen. She quickly switched the screen off, not wanting to worry the boy. "How's Brook doing?" she asked instead, seeing that he only had one slice of pizza left on the plate. It was unbelievable.
"If you're going to eat that whole slice and won't vomit after, I'll let you borrow my limo for one night to drive you wherever you want" the boss of the restaurant increased the reward, the crowd screaming with excitement.
"Belle?" Unfortunately for the girl, Rye wasn't the type of person to give up if he wanted to know something. He could see the clear sadness on Belle's face, even though she tried to hide it. He softly took the phone out of the girl's hands, using his fingerprint to unlock it. Sometimes, it was incredible how much they trusted each other and how close they were. None of them had any issues with giving the other person the password - the action making it easier for both of them to operate music on each other's phones when they were listening to songs together.
"Belle" he whispered softly as his eyes read through all the comments the girl was looking at a few minutes ago. He didn't understand how people could hate on her so much. She never wanted to be in a spotlight; never used the band's name to get fame. It's awful to hate on anyone, but she was definitely the last person who deserved it.
"Ignore those comments, you and everyone here knows you worked hard for this job and there's no denying that" he said, once again informing her that even though they loved all their fans, some of them were too jealous and judgmental.
"Yeah, I guess you're right" she said, not believing that this cliche quote from Rye actually boosted up her mood.
"See, that's my girl" he repeated his phrase from the day they went to Nando's . However, he either must done it too laud or Amanda's listening skills were on point as even though she was on a laptop screen, she managed to move her eyes to Belle and Rye within seconds. "I want to know everything after" she said non-verbally, getting a smile from Annabelle.
"YAAAAAAAAS" the whole room screamed as Brooklyn managed to eat the whole pizza - meaning he won £810 . Now whether he'll vomit or not, will depend on his limo drive. The boy was quickly taken by the boys outside, everyone almost losing hopes he'll make it without a puke. * After couple of minutes, Rye came back to the restaurant, informing people that unfortunately Brooklyn could not keep everything up within him.
"Don't worry brother, you still have £810 extra of your birthday presents" Belle laughed, giving the boy a high five.
*This actually happened in real life, Brooklyn managed to eat 15 slices of pizza without vomiting, winning £810 and a limo drive. It was all recorded by Blair's snapchat, but you can find it on YouTube too.
