"What do we got?" A red-haired man in a white coat asks walking out by us. He's followed by a red-haired girl wearing the same white coat.

"Amelia Larson. We aren't sure about her age, we believe she was abused considering the multiple cuts and bruises she has," Officer Nicole says. She helps me onto a bed with wheels.

"Hi Amelia, I'm Dr. Hunt. We're going to take very good care of you," Dr. Hunt says, a somewhat assuring smile on his face. "Someone page Peds," He yells. Dr. Hunt and the other red haired girl push the bed into the hospital before bringing me to a smaller room.

"Who's this?" A blonde haired lady says walking into the room.

"Amelia Larson, by the looks she's around three. She's a possible abuse case," The red-haired girl says.

"Hi sweetie, I'm Dr. Robbins. Can you tell me if anything hurts?" Dr. Robbins asks gently.

"My tummy," I say.

"I need an ultrasound." Dr. Robbins says. Soon, someone brings in a big machine. Dr. Robbins thanks them before squirting cold gel onto my stomach. She moves this stick thing around.

"There's free fluid in her stomach. Someone schedule an OR." Dr. Robbins says. Dr. Robbins smiles down at me.

"Hi, Amelia," Dr. Robbins says walking in the room. I look over at her and smile slightly. She's holding a tray full of food. "By the looks of it, you haven't eaten well in a while so I brought you something," Dr. Robbins says setting the food down on the table that lays across my bed.

"You should be back to your normal self within days," Dr. Robbins explains. She smiles before she leaves my hospital room. I grab the weird hospital remote and turn on the TV. I haven't really ever watched TV so I just scrolled through channels before settling on a channel. I think it's called Disney Channel. I look back at the food. It's a bowl of soup, some crackers, half a sandwich, and a cup of milk. I grab the spoon and eat some of the soup. Then I try some of the sandwich. It's very good. Before daddy turned all mean, he used to put crackers in my soup. I loved it. I crush up the crackers and put it in the soup. I watch the tv as I eat.

I finish all of my food before I lay back down and watch the tv. A nurse comes in to check on me a few minutes. Then Dr. Robbins comes in. I'm actually starting to like her. I turn my head and smile at her.

"You ate some food, good. You should get some sleep," Dr. Robbins says. I grab the remote and turn the tv off. Dr. Robbins turns the light off. I doze off before I slip into a dreamless sleep.
