"Amy! Bath time!" Mom yells from upstairs. I groan and get off the couch. I trudge my way into our upstairs bathroom where mom is waiting for me. She walks over to and helps me get my clothes off. She throws them on the floor before picking me up and putting me in the tub. She already has warm water inside and she put bubbles in it.
"Alright Amy, close your eyes for me." Mommy says before rubbing shampoo into my hair. She grabs a cup and fills it before pouring the water over my head. She does this a few more times before she's sure the soap is out. "Alright, you can open your eyes now." She says. I do as she says and open my eyes. Mommy grabs a washcloth off the bathroom counter and wets it with the soapy water. She grabs my body soap and pours some on the washcloth.
"Mommy?" I ask her.
"Yeah?" She asks, starting to rub the washcloth across my skin.
"Is Leah going to be my sister?" I ask. She looks up at me for a moment.
"Do you her to be your sister?" Mommy asks me.
"Yeah, I like Leah. She's fun to hang out with." I say. Mommy dunks the washcloth in the water. She rinses the water off me and helps me out of the tub.
"I'll talk with Chris and tell you in the morning, okay?" Mommy says, staring to dry me off.
"Yeah." I say, slightly disappointed she couldn't give me an answer today. Mom finishes drying me off and grabs my pajamas. She helps me get them on before brushing through my hair with a brush left on the counter.
"Alright sweetheart, let's get you to bed." Mom says, grabbing my hand.

Melissa's POV
"I'm so tired." I say, falling into bed.
"Careful, you're going to break the bed." Chris says, taking his eyes off his phone. I look over at him, glaring, and playfully hit his arm.
"Bathing two kids in a span of thirty minutes is harder than you think. Especially when all the youngest wants to play in the water." I say, yawning.
"I could've helped." Chris says.
"No, no. It's alright." I say. I throw the blankets over myself and lay down on the bed, closing my eyes. I lay there momentarily before I hear an ear piercing scream from down the hall. I instantly wake up, throwing my blanket off my blanket. I sprint down the hall, following the screams. I go all the way down the hallway and make it to Amelia's room. I quickly run in, where she's screaming and squirming around in her bed.
"Daddy! Daddy, please stop!" She screams out. I rush over to her.
"Amy! Amy, honey, its Mommy. Baby, wake up. Please, wake up." I beg her. Her eyes open and she slowly begins to come back to reality. Her eyes swell up with tears. I pull her into a hug and Chris come around the other side.
"I saw daddy again. He was mad at me. He was mad I went with the officer." She says, sobbing.
"I know baby. It's going to be okay." I say, holding her shaken up body.
