Amelia's POV
"Amy, are you up?" Mommy whispers walking into my room. She looks at me and smiles. She walks over to me and sits down in my bed and runs her fingers through my hair.
"You're going to go and hang out with someone today." Mommy says after a few minutes of silence.
"Who?" I ask.
"My friend Chyler. She has three kids and I think you'll like them." Mommy says.
"What are her kids names?" I ask.
"Well, there's Noah, then Anniston, and then Taelyn." Mommy says. "So you have to get up and get ready so you can go play." Mommy says. She gets off my bed and goes in my closet. I get off my bed and stand in the middle of the room until mom comes back.
"How's this?" She asks holding up what she picked out.
"I like it." I say.
"Okay, then let me help you get it on." Mommy says. She helps me put in the dress then she ties the brown belt thing around my waist and puts on my necklace. I put on the pink sweater as mommy helps me put on my shoes. Then mommy takes me into her bathroom so she can do my hair. She brushes through my hair and then puts it in French braids. At least that's what mommy calls them.
"Okay Amy. Go downstairs and watch some tv while I get ready okay?" Mommy says. I nod and go downstairs. I grab the remote that I recently learned how to use thanks to mom. It's about a half an hour before mommy comes downstairs wearing a white tank top, a brown cardigan, black leggings, and black flats. She left her hair down.
"You ready Amy?" Mommy asks.
"Yeah." I say grabbing the remote and turning the tv off. Mommy grabs her purse and keys and we go out to the car. Mommy helps me get in my seat and then gets in her seat. She drives to Chyler's house. I've hung out with Chyler a lot when mommy's working. Chyler is really nice, but she seemed to not really like me when we first met. She doesn't think I know that though.
"Amy, were here." Mommy says snapping me out of my thoughts. She opens my door and helps me out. She grabs my little backpack she packed for me. She says it's just things like toys and books. Since Chyler's kids are a little older than me, mommy thought it would be good to bring something for me to do when they do big kid stuff. Mommy knocks on the door and we wait for someone to answer. I grab moms hand as the door opens.
"Hey guys." Chyler says when she sees us.
"Hey Chy." Mommy says giving Chyler a hug.
"Hey Amy." Chyler says. I smile shyly.
"Ams, why so shy? You were excited to come." Mommy asks. I shrug smiling. Mom and Chyler laugh a little. "Go give Auntie Chyler a hug." Mommy says. Chyler kneels down and I walk over to her and give her a hug. I let go and we walk in. Mommy puts my backpack on the kitchen table.
"The kids aren't up yet, so you can watch tv or color in one of Anniston's old coloring books." Chyler says. I nod and walk over to the table. I grab the crayons out of my backpack and grab one of the coloring books on the counter. I color as mommy and Chyler talk a little. After a few minutes mommy walks over by me.
"Goodbye princess." She says kissing the top of my head. I look up and smile at her. She smiles back at me. "I'll see you later tonight, okay? Have fun and be good. I don't want to hear Auntie Chyler say anything bad." Mommy says. I give her a hug and she leaves.
"Bye mommy." I say right before she leaves.
"Bye Amy." Mommy says back before shutting the door.
