~ROSE'S POV~

I walked into the biology classroom, holding my books. I overheard two of Cheryl's barbies talking to her."We were wondering, Cheryl," One of them said, "Back in July, you told the po-po that Jason drowned."

"Yet, we come to find out that Jason didn't drown," said the other, "He was shot. That's slightly suspicious, no?"

"Are you living mannequins suggesting I had something to do with my brother's death?" said Cheryl, a sickly sweet smile on her face.

"We're just curious...What do the police think happened?"

"I'll tell you what I told them, which is that Jason did fall into the water. We both did. I made it to the shore. He didn't. Maybe he made it to the other side of the river and someone shot him there. Who knows?" Cheryl said tightly, her words fueled by annoyance of the two girls.

"OMG, Cheryl! I remembered." I said as I walked through them. I started crying. "They-they were there... They told you didn't deserve to be the Queen and they killed Jason to make you sad. I-I remember." Everyone was watching us but it didn't bother me. The two girls quickly walked away and they were scared to death. I laughed.

"So... That was just a game?" asked Cheryl. I nodded. "My innocent sister is improving." she said as she hugged me. I laughed but when I saw Jughead looking at me with a confused look my face went blank. I told Cheryl that I was gonna sit with Jughead and walked towards him. Archie teamed up with Cheryl and Veronica teamed up with Betty.

"What the hell was that?" Jughead asked.

"Tell me what you want. Tell me psychopath, tell me wicked bitch. But I don't care, okay? I know someone's death is not a joke. And I know it's double weird because the dead guy is my brother." I said before stopping to breathe. He was still looking at me waiting for me to explain myself.

"I don't remember Jason" I said for the billionth time. "So, his death is almost meaningless to me. Don't gave me that weird look. Millions of people are dying every second but you're not sad, why? Because you don't know them. Mine is the same. But still, you're right, I've should've been more considerate. But don't expect me to just stand there while those two artificial human beings insult my sister."

He opened his mouth but I didn't let him to talk. "I know what I did was still unacceptable but it was the first thing to come to my mind. So don't judge me." I said and looked at him expectantly.

"Okay, Blossom, you're scaring me." he said with a smirk. They both looked at the frog, stepped back and to each other and burst into laughter.

"Wait. Why did you laugh?" he asked. "Do-Do you remember?"

It was freshman year. I was sitting with Jughead in Biology class. We were both looking at the frog in front of us.

"Okay, be a nice friend and you do it." I said.

"In your dreams, Blossom. You do it. You probably do it anyways beyond the locked doors of Thornhill." he said and I punched his arm as I laughed. "Ouch."

Suddenly something green popped up and jumped on Jughead. Apparently the frog was still alive - I don't know how but it's a public school so you don't know what to expect. -

Mrs. Kahn quickly rushed towards us and try to hold the frog but failed. It ended up all of us leaving the class and Mrs. Kahn trying to catch the frog.

"We don't cut frogs - or anybody for the matter - in Thornhill but I don't know, even if we did there is a big chance of me forgetting it." I said smiling. He laughed.
