"Ready?" Betty asked. Jughead pulled me closer to him and held my hand. Betty shove the flash drive into the laptop and pressed play.

We watched closely and see a serpent yelling at tied up Jason and I. I was there, in the corner, watching the serpent yell at my brother.

"Oh, my God." said Veronica, as my father walked in. He walked up to Jason. When I screamed he turned to me and hit me. I should have looked away. I should've closed my eyes. I should've left the room. But no, I just froze and watched the video.

He walked back to Jason and pulled something out of Jason's pocket. Jason struggled and my dad pointed the gun at Jason's skull.

"Jason!" I screamed as my dad pulled the trigger on the gun. Jug tightened his grip as I screamed. I felt tears stream down my face. I quickly stand up, pulling myself away from Jug.

"Rose." he said but I started running. My dad. He hurt me. He killed Jason.

I still don't remember what happened and I'm glad I don't. I couldn't live with it. Just like I couldn't live with this now.

~JUGHEAD'S POV~

I haven't seen Rose since we watched the video. Cheryl was refusing to tell me where she was, she wasn't at school, she wasn't answering any of my calls or texts.

It was my fault, I should've covered her eyes. I shouldn't have let her watch. I should've ran faster when she left, so that I could wrap my arms around her and say that everything was going to be alright. But I didn't.

I led her watch.

I couldn't catch her when she ran away, tears streaming down her face.

Dammit. It was my fault.

Days passed, Jason Blossom's murder solved, but the shadows above the city held still.

Everyone pitied the Blossoms. More specifically everyone pitied Rose Blossom, knowing her only fault was trying to help his brother.

Her only fault was being there at a very wrong time. Maybe, if she said goodbye to Jason at Greendale side of the Sweetwater River, just like Cheryl, everything would be fine for her. But she didn't. And it caused her almost her life and her memories.

A week passed without a single word from Rose. Blossoms locked themselves in Thronhill, Penelope being too ashamed to face anyone and Rose and Cheryl too broken to face anyone.

I stood in front of my new school with Archie, Betty and Veronica. I slipped away from my thoughts as I heard Veronica's voice.

"Jughead, we have to go." she said rushing towards me.

"What's happening?" I asked nervously. Was it about Rose? Where was she? Was she okay?

"Cheryl and Rose are going to be with Jason." Betty said. I felt my heart drop. I couldn't lose Rose, I wouldn't let that happen.

"Cheryl?" V screamed.

"Rose? Rose?" Archie screamed.

We stopped running and I leaned over panting.

"They're not here."
