*Makoto's pov*

When we got back to base Toko and Kyoko's horses were already there but their riders hadn't yet returned. I felt sick to my stomach that I had left them when they clearly weren't fine.

That night all of us fell into an uneasy sleep just incase anything showed up during the night.

At the crack of dawn I was up and wanting to head out to find them but the boss wouldn't let me. He told be to calm down and they would return when they were in a fit state to travel. All worked up I paced our room until Asahina woke up and took me out of the room to talk.

"What's gotten into you?" She asked me as she gave me a cup of tea and sat me down.

"They were in trouble and we just left them" I told her.

"They'll be fine you just need to calm down and have some faith in them" she told me.

"Oh I have faith in them but I need to find them" I told her as I stood up.

"Makoto sit down!" She shouted at me as she shoved me into my seat, "you are being irrational and like this you will only become a threat to yourself and anyone who goes with you, so you need to chill out. We have lived in this world since we were 16 they know what they need to do"

Hearing that I just nodded she was right and it only took a shouting at by Hina to make me see that. I was only going to be a danger to myself if I went and looked for them, besides they had each other.

Everyone else got up a few hours later and joined us to get some breakfast. Neither me or Hina had eaten anything we had waited for the other three before we did that. Breakfast was really good and having that in my stomach calmed me down to a point where I knew they would return.

It was mid afternoon when the boss came and got us four and lead us to the front door. Stood there waiting for us was Kyoko and Toko but they were being followed by four other people. It only took me a second to realise that they were our kids. I ran to them and took them all into my arms including Nori. Byakuya had also ran to Toko and hugged her before pulling Avery into join them.

"That's their kids" Asahina told Soul and Buster.

"They were different to how I pictured them" Buster replied.

"Haha good old Koko we knew she would find them again" laughed Soul, "Also don't be rude Buster!"

"I'm sorry but she gave them both her eye colour I see" smiled Buster.

"True, I wonder if it runs in the family" commented Soul.

"Kyoko's dad has the same eye colour as her" Asahina told them.

They both nodded and watched as we all held each other and I could even feel myself start to cry. I had never love anyone so much than my kids and just knowing they were safe relieved me so much.

Kyoko then pulled away from us but I kept hold of my girls one in each arm, Kyoko was now with Toko and they were both smiling at each other. Byakuya came over to the girls with Avery so I could see my nephew, he remembered me as he flew at me. Both girls and Nori went to see their Uncle, but very shortly Lydia ran to Asahina. She had always adored Hina and Roma shortly followed her, Hina cried when they were cuddled up in her arms. She had always seemed to see the kids as her own children due to how she always helped to look after them. Avery joined them and Soul and Buster moved back to join Kyoko and Toko. Kyoko put her arm on Soul and lent on him as she bent over, her wounds were probably hurting her.

"You okay there?" Soul asked her.

"Fine, now go and see her" she smiled at him.

He looked at her and stood her up right before walking over to Hina. The kids had just left her and he held her hands in his as he pulled her in to hug her. Hina pulled her hands out of his and wrapped them around him in return. He looked down at her and lent in to kiss her, she smiled and returned his kiss. I went over to Kyoko and put my arm around her as her head slowly rested on my shoulder, all three of our kids came and stood by us.
