*Makoto's POV*

As soon as we got Soul home me and Byakuya put him down on the sofa so he could rest.

"I wonder what Toko wanted" I said quietly as me and Byakuya sat together watching Soul.

"Don't know, with her it could literally be anything" Byakuya replied.

Nita was lying on the floor next to Soul, her head was on her paws. I didn't know where Spirit was but he wouldn't be far.

We sat in silence until I heard someone walking down the hallway. When I looked up Kyoko was there alone, not even looking at us she went to Soul. Even Nita got up and came over to me to get out of her way, she had a very different aura.

"Where's Toko?" Byakuya asked her.

"She went back to the others" Kyoko replied quietly.

"What did she want?" I asked.

"Does it matter?" Kyoko asked slightly more aggressively. Yeah she was definitely pissed with someone.

"Not really" I sighed.

Kyoko then pulled Soul's multiple shirts up to reveal a nasty looking wound.

"You shouldn't have moved" Kyoko told him.

He didn't reply and so she began to try and remove some objects that were stuck inside of it. In an instant her gloves were covered with more fresh blood. It didn't phase her until she finished pulling out dirt and she looked down at the blood and mess she had made.

She seemed to forget that me and Byakuya were still in the room as she very quietly told Soul, "I've really fucked up Soul"

His eyes open to looked at her.

"Toko hates me..." she sighed.

"What do you mean Toko hates you?!" Byakuya shouted.

Kyoko got up and looked at us three and shook her head, "I told you it doesn't matter"

"It obviously does now tell us!" Byakuya shouted as he also got up and stood in front of her. He stood up straight so he would be more intimidating.

Still Kyoko stayed silent, angry Byakuya reached out and grabbed her shirt before pulling her inches from his face. "Tell me what you did!" he growled at her.

"Byakuya let her go!" I shouted.

Nita then got up and started to growl at him.

"Not until she tells us what's happened!"

"Fine..." Kyoko choaked.

Dropping her down Byakuya moved away and stood arms folded waiting for an explanation.

"She was going on about how Soul must be a traitor and danger to us, and how me trusting him is putting us and the kids in danger. But I wasn't thinking straight, I was angry with her for telling me I was putting my kids in danger so I shouted before thinking of the consequences. I told that trusting her was more of a threat than Soul, especially with Sho, and that my kids had always been more in danger with her than anyone else"
